| O TURN away those cruel eyes, | |
| The stars of my undoing! | |
| Or death, in such a bright disguise, | |
| May tempt a second wooing. | |

| It was my fall that deified | |
| Thy name, and seal'd thy story. | |

| Lovers will doubt thou canst entice | |
