THERE is a shame of nobleness
Confronting sudden pelf,—
A finer shame of ecstasy
Convicted of itself.
  
A best disgrace a brave man feels,        5
Acknowledged of the brave,—
One more “Ye Blessed” to be told;
But this involves the grave.
