Part Five: The Single Hound

LXXI

NOT any sunny tone

From any fervent zone

Finds entrance there.

Better a grave of Balm

Toward human nature’s home,

And Robins near,

Than a stupendous Tomb

Proclaiming to the gloom

How dead we are.
