Fleet as the swallow cuts the drift.

Flies like a feather in the blast.

Away like a glance of thought he flew.

Glimmers … like starry twinklers that momently break
Through the rifts of the gathering tempest’s rack.

Pure as the angel forms above.

Smooth as sheet of polished brass.

As swift as the glance of the arrowy lance
That the storm spirit flings from high.
