Cristo nacio is what the rooster said,
And the hen said, En Belen!
The goats were so curious that they said
Vamos a ver—let us go see!
But the wise old sheep said,        5
No es menester!—there’s no need of it!
 
        Cristo nacio
        En Belen!
        Vamos a ver—
        No es menester!        10
