Chaudière Falls
 
 
in the Ottawa River in the heart of the city of Ottawa, Ont., Canada. The river is narrowed by rocky cliffs to a width of c.200 ft (60 m) and drops 50 ft (15 m) in a series of cascades. Several bridges cross the river there, passing over the falls.
