Seillière, Ernest, Baron
(rnst´ bärôN´ syr´) (KEY) , 18661955, French critic and philosopher. He is best known as an opponent of romanticism and for his philosophy of imperialism. His theories were expounded in many works, notably in La Philosophie de limpérialisme (4 vol., 19038). A collection of his essays was translated as Romanticism (1929).
