Many people shop where they can find everything at once and is in a decent distance from their home, but most shoppers don’t realize what they are really purchasing or the truth about the stores they buy from. Though Walmart stores seem to be a normal part of life the average person more than likely has little knowledge that pertains to Walmart’s success and business culture. While conducting a check of the closed business, I observed a White male and female in the back seat of a white Cadillac with untinted windows. I pulled up to the vehicle to conduct a welfare check without my lights or sirens activated. Furthermore, the Cadillac was not blocked in by and free to leave.

Make sure to wave at the cameras watching you when you walk in Walmart. Walmart is one out of the many places that have cameras up, watching every move you do. However, that isn’t a bad thing. Cameras provide good security just like other things people do or have to help save lives. Security prevents crime, police officers also prevent crime, and you could defend yourself from crime.

Speaking of stopping by Wal*Mart, I myself, had to stop by yesterday to pick up a few items that I cannot find at the other local grocery stores. Also, I am not near a Publix or Target store or I would shop with them instead. The closest Publix or Target store is about 30 minutes away from where I live. To get straight to the point, I noticed how unorganized the store was with boxes laid out everywhere. You almost have to walk a mile to get around all of the boxes that are placed throughout the actual walkway.

I had heard description of Walmart stores, but I could never had imagined how big they actually were. I would love to have me on video, when I walked for the first time around the store. I had my eyes lit up the whole time, and was surprised how many types of product they had for sale. They had products from fresh fruits to lawn mowers. I noticed if a person needs anything for their home, he could buy it at Walmart. For the fridge, kids, bathroom, living room, aid kit, entertainment, and activities.

The documentary on Wal-Mart: “The High Cost of Low Price” was about how Wal-Mart can charge low prices for their products compared to other competitors. Wal-Mart would place their business in areas where there was no big retail competition. However, there were a lot of “mom and pop” stores, including H&H Hardware in which they discussed in the film that was in business for over forty-three years. As soon as Wal-Mart entered into their community, H&H Hardware and other small family owned business had to close their doors because Wal-Mart would force every out.

Food and water may become scarce at the time so it's smart to be in a place that has food, water, and many more supplies that can help with everyday living. By being in Walmart people won't have to worry about clothes it will always be there because the store has them. When an accident happens and it’s an emergency there are many things in Walmart to help solve the problem like first aid kits, pain relief medicine, and ointment. This store also has weapons like knives, bats, rifles, and shotguns.

Majority of people has been shopping in Wal-Mart once or even frequently. People like the way that Wal-Mart works. Their prices are cheap and we can find variety of commodities. Wal-Mart has run for around 53 years. It is a great thing because it can represent that people like the store. It is very important to note that not every retail store can be run for a long time with tremendous profit. According to their website, they have approximately 260 millions customers consumes in their stores which includes the stores over 28 countries. In addition, Wal-Mart also has 2.2 millions employees all over the world, including 1.4 millions employees in the U.S. However, the chief executives officer of Wal-Mart, Doug McMillon recently announced that they are going to shut down 269 stores that includes in the U.S. store and worldwide stores. In other words, there are more than 16000 workers including 10000 in the U.S. will be affected and thousand of workers will be laid off. This paper is going to analyze the issue ethically, and use alternative ways to work the problem out.

The economic satisfaction encouraged Walmart to develop new strategies and methods that they are now using to help with management. The retail giant has been very successful with Inventory Management and there Forecasting methods. Some key tactics they incorporate within success of inventory management are strategic vendor partnerships, fewer links in the supply chain, cross docking and technology. In result to having such inventory system Walmart is able to forecast and plan for any unforeseen circumstances.
