Every child gets asked what they want to be when they grow up. Some say they want to be astronauts and others say princesses. I would always say I wanted to become a doctor. As I grew older, I had never changed my mind. I hope to someday become a non-invasive Cardiologist. I chose this career because heart disease has become more of a concern in the past few years. Also, because I enjoyed working with the heart in previous medical classes I had taken in high school. I want to help people and give them a way to be healthier and live longer.
For this career, I would first go to the University of Wisconsin- Madison, to get my undergraduate degree in biology. Then I would have to go to medical school for another four years. After medical school,
I feel that the world will always need people in the medical field. I want to discover cures, medicine, and ways to improve the quality of life. I want to be apart of a major breakthrough and reveal new things no one thought would be possible for a long time. I would love to see several changes in medicine and the field such as the prevention of diseases, making the public more aware of fatalities that can occur, and most of all to give people and animals a life that is enjoyable which people in the medical profession are entitled to do everything possible to make that
“What do you want to be when you grow up?” As a child, we have all been asked this question; and as unrealistic children, we all had dreams of being a superhero, princess, cowboy, or astronaut. Later on in life, as time went by, and as we became more knowledgeable, our answers became more serious. Some of us wanted to be teachers, business owners, or a veterinarian. However, I have always wanted to be a doctor, but not just any doctor. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be a pediatrician. Now, half way through my junior year in high school, I have started to question the details of this career, and all the hard work it takes to become a part of the medical field.
f I could pick any career it would be a Pediatrician Nurse Practitioner for an Oncologist. Growing up I wanted to be what every other kid wanted to be: doctor, lawyer, princess and the list goes on. As I got into High School I found myself interested in a lot of the medical classes. My freshman year I was in Introduction to Health Science which lead me to join HOSA. I fell in love with the thought of helping others. My junior year I was involved in a clinical rotation where one hour a day I would go to the hospital and sit in on surgeries, comfort patients, do coffee runs and anything else I could get my hands on. Now going into my senior year I am going to have an internship for a Pediatric Oncologist in Rockwall. This is going to help me
I would like to become a physician because it is a career that is constantly evolving. As a physician, I would be expected to constantly learn new techniques and information to better care for future patients. I would also enjoy interacting with patients and affecting their lives
Currently I work with the Moose Jaw Kinsmen Flying Fins as an assistant coach to the youngest kids in our program. In the future I think that I want to pursue a career in medicine, more so a career as a cardiovascular surgeon. I like the idea of cutting into a person and being able to fix their hearts. It’s like taking the role of God into your own hands and I imagine that holding a live beating human heart would be an indescribable feeling that I would love to experience.
Before I wanted to be a teacher but like many people was teachers don't get payed that much. I love to work will kids and I think I work well with kids to. Soon I stumbled on the idea of finding something that works with kids and a pediatrician sounded perfect. There is only one problem with wanting to become a pediatrician you have to do 8 years of collage. That's a lot of years but I'll do it if I really love it. I'm still young I have time to think or stick to this dream or pick a new one Roman Atwood taught me that I can do or be anything I want and I plan to follow my
At a young age many of us knew what we wanted to be when we grew up. I knew when I was a little girl that I wanted to help people. I wanted to be a therapist. I have been in the environment of caring for people since I was a little girl and knew that I wanted to go into health care. In healthcare I could shine, using my love to care for people and the satisfaction of being a help to those in need.
The career I chose through the tests that I took was to be a family physician. I am interested in this because I find helping people and using science intriguing, because I like the idea of knowing exactly why something is the way it is. The tests I took in career cruising pointed me to this career due to the qualities I possess such as being out-going, hard-working, and being friendly. This career is something that is challenge and I find that fascinating. I like the idea of being challenged throughout my lifetime. This career would also leave me financially stable to be able to travel and participate in fun activities with my days off.
When I was little I wanted to be a doctor, because I saw how much help they were, and I wanted to do the same. The first major time I want to the doctor was when I was 6 months old this was due to me getting really sick, it took longer for them to find out what it was due to me just getting my immunization.
If you are a pathologist, you do things like diagnose, or identify, types and stages of diseases using laboratory techniques and patient specimens. You also study the nature, cause, and development of diseases. You may even discover a cure for diseases. In case you were wondering why the job pathologist is called that, another name for disease is pathogen, so they called it pathologist. As I said earlier, I hope that I graduate with a masters and P.h.D., depending on where you’re getting your job, you may need a masters, P.h.D., M.D, or J.D.. That will take around 4 years of college, but it might be worth it.
What do you want to be when you grow up? This question I have heard my entire life. My response when I was five was a doctor. Now I can officially say a surgeon. Not just any surgeon, but the one that makes me want to reach for stars and above. Which is a Cardiothoracic surgeon. My goal hasn’t changed, but made me see the path and my goals for achievement. This career specialty has my enthusiasm and my hope for the best and the most.
My career goal is to become a general physician. I chose this path because I believe that the goal of life is to help others. I also chose this goal because all of my life I have lived in rural towns where medical facilities need medical staff. When I was very young I remember that a doctor would go every other month to the small clinic that the town had and there were many people who needed care but did not have asses to it. Seeing all of the people who needed care inspired me to pursue the medical field. I decided to become a general physician because this will allow to not only focus on one specialty but everything in general. Also every patient that walks in through the door will be unexpected. It could be a patient suffering from a heart
Once I am in college, I want to study to become either a physical therapist or a teacher for kids with special needs. I want to become a physical therapist because I want to help people get better and help them get back to their daily routines. At first I wanted to be a doctor because I wanted to help save people's lives, but I get really grossed out when it comes to blood and open wounds, so then I decided that I could help people get back on their feet after their surgeries. Becoming a teacher for kids with special needs is my second career choice because I get really emotional when I see a poor innocent kid having to suffer. I also get really upset and defensive when people look and treat them differently because it's not their fault that they are the way they are. I have learned through experiences that kids with special needs are the most kindest people you could ever meet and some of them are really funny. I bet at first it will be a lot of hard work, but as time goes by it will get easier and I will enjoy going to work. My purpose in life is to give back and help others because I am very thankful and appreciative of everything in my life, which is why my main career choices have to do with helping
My future career choice is to be an obstetrician/gynecologist aka ob/gyn. I chose this career path because I want to help women and their unborn children. As an ob/gyn I will be a physician who provides medical and surgical care to women and have a particular education in pregnancy, childbirth, and disorders of the reproductive system. One of my reasons for this career choice is that having a child is one of the greatest gift ever.
I always wanted to become a doctor. My mother is a dietitian in a Children’s Hospital in Nepal and as a child; I used to accompany her to work at times. The chaos in the hospital and the sufferings of the patients intrigued me and I wanted to help them in any possible way. The idea of becoming an individual who could actually lend a hand to them forever fascinated me. The way doctors were respected and looked up to made a powerful impact on my naive mind and I hoped to be like them one day.
