In the essay “A Message to Garcia” an American soldier was chosen to deliver a message to General Garcia the leader of rebel forces during the Spanish American war. The soldier does eventually deliver the Presidents message without knowing what the message contained. This solder eventually and not without obstacles and doubting times did so without question. This soldier completed his task without asking how or why and without delay. In addition, this soldier was able to accomplish this with every imaginable obstacle that could be found when encountering a hostile country on foot.

Russel Garcia is a New Zealand composer who mainly wrote music for films. Garcia was on the 12th of April, 1916. Gabriel Garcia Marquez is a writer, a novelist, a journalist, and a author. He was born on March 6, 1927 in Aracataca, Colombia. He lived with his grandparent almost his whole life. His grandparents would tell him a lot of story. His grandfather would tell him story about his journey been in the military while his grandmother tell him stories of the fantastic, his grandparents would also tell him stories about his parents dating adventures. Sadly when Gabriel was 8 years old his grandfather died of cancer and so he stayed with his grandmother. As Gabriel grandmother got older she died of health problems. Women devoted their lives to the building of families and marriage or instead gave their life to God and became nuns. Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz chose to live her life as a nun for different reasons, must specially because of her desire for the opportunity to study. In the article, A Message to Garcia, Hubbard talks about how a man name Rowan who was asked to deliver a very important message to Garcia. This message was very important and needed to be delivered to him but the problem was, no one knew where he was. Rowan was called upon to deliver the message because they knew that no matter what it took or how long it would take he would get the job done. The article later on talks about those who are the opposite of Rowan. When asked to do a task, these individuals ask a ton of questions and make excuses which normally result in the tasks not getting done or passed off to someone else.
