We are excited to support you in the year ahead, beginning with the changes regarding the individuals you will contact with questions about your association. As you are probably aware, at the 2016 General Convention, Kappa Kappa Gamma voted to change its organizational structure. This includes the creation of: • Content Directors who provide strategic oversight of a content area. • Content Specialists who provide day-to-day support and guidance for a specific content area in their assigned districts. • District Directors who serve as the overall monitors and leaders for the health and well-being of chapters and …show more content…

Loyally, Andrea Stanfield Alpha District Director Alpha District Content Specialists for 2017–18 Academic Excellence: The Academic Excellence Specialist is Samantha Leigh Kobrin, Florida State. Her role is to assist chapters with programs to transition collegians to alumna membership and to identify and deploy resources to improve academic performance. She is a useful contact for associations seeking to support chapters with their academics as well as with transitioning members to alumna status. Samantha is a television producer for a nightly entertainment show in Miami. Her television experience also includes work in sports and news. Furthermore, her work has earned her multiple Emmy nominations. She loves photography, traveling and, of course, Florida State. Go Noles! Advisory Board: The Advisory Board Specialists are Julie Carley Reilly, Puget Sound, and Nicole Pitsinos, South Carolina. Their role is to assist Advisory Boards with recruiting new advisers as well as to identify and train local alumnae to volunteer for chapter events. These Content Specialists will connect with you when seeking new volunteers within the area to serve on an Advisory Board or House Board for a local chapter.
