Everyone is going to the “cloud” for storage, but what exactly does that mean? Where is the cloud and is it secure? What are the benefits of storing data on the Cloud? The National Institute of Standards and Technology describes cloud storage as a model for enabling ubiquitous, on-demand network access to a shared configurable computing resources that can be swiftly accessed and released with minimal effort or service provider collaboration.
