There are several biomes which cover Mexico’s Region. As you can see in the diagram that most of mexico's land is dry, which means that the soil is not very rich. At the south of the country we can see another biome called temperate Rain forest. Here we would find a more typical rainforest. These types of rainforests are usually very humid places with lots of wildlife, exotic animals and plants. Then we can see the biome called chaparral. In this biome we would see very flat plain rocky hills and mountain slopes. You might’ve seen this biome in films of the wild west. These are the typical mexican cowboys’ movies setting.
Our ecosystem is described depending on the location we are located in. There is different plants, animals, and environments in different environmental regions. For this paper we are focusing on the six different biomes structures we have in the state of Texas.
However, they have a plethora of mineral resources. They are the world’s leading exporter for silver and fifth in the world for oil production. They are also a top producer for lead, iron ore, copper, sulfur, and gold, among various other minerals. One-quarter of the land is brimming with green, lush forests. Mexican government has established 47 national parks and 14 forest reserves. All kinds of unique animal species can be seen throughout the country. In the cooler, more mountainous areas, coyotes, foxes, bears, and wolves roam wild. Tapirs, jaguars, monkeys, colorful birds are seen in the tropical regions of Mexico. Having the Pacific coast on one side and the Gulf of Mexico on the other supplies Mexico with an abundance in fish and
Mexico is a lovely country just south of the United states. The Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean are on the borders of this country. It is approximately two million square kilometers. The two main climates are tropical and desert, which are two very hot climates. It is plentiful with natural resources such as gold, timber, zinc, and silver. There are approximately two hundred million people who inhabit Mexico, and the predominant language spoken is spanish. The vast majority of people follow a christian faith, but it is not forced upon the citizens. The laws of Mexico is for the most part similar to the United states, but can slightly differ.
Biomes are appropriate conditions for organizing the natural world because the organisms that live in them common constellations of adaptations, particularly the climate of each of the areas and the characteristic vegetation types that develops in these divisions. It should be understood that the climate is perhaps the most important in determining classes of individuals who may live in an area and the ways they should be amended to live under different conditions of temperature and precipitation and seasonal distribution of these factors element. Every place on Earth has its own climate, influenced by both macroclimate regions as the particular microclimate. The soils are very important because they are essential to determine the types of plants that will grow into a bioclimatic zone in partical, in addition, also as substrates for animals serve. In turn, the soils are heavily influenced by regional climate, as well as the geology of the bedrock. At the same time we have to keep in mind the diversity of plants like the flora just like the diversity of the fauna as well as the adaptation of both.
Another biome is the Savanna. Savanna includes the grasslands. They can be flat with few trees or shrubs or open woodland. This biome is used by farmers for animals to graze. The Aboriginal people would hunt the animals found here for food.
Earth is always constantly changing and developing, especially the organisms that habitat on Earth. As a result, Earth is very biodiverse and has many different types of ecosystem. For instance, Earth has eight ecosystems (Tropical forest, Savanna, Desert, Chaparral, Temperate Grassland, Temperate Deciduous forest, Coniferous forest, and Tundra) and seven biomes (Wetland, Lakes, River and Streams, Intertidal zones, Oceanic pelagic biome, Coral reefs, Benthos). In these many different areas on Earth, there are many organisms, life, and valued nature. For example, Santa Cruz’s ocean are immensely important and valuable to the Cruz community because of its beautiful cinematic views and sea animals. Therefore, there are environmental justice
Mexico is located in North America, bordering the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico. Mexico is situated between Belize and the United States and bordering the North Pacific Ocean, between Guatemala and the United States ( the world fact book. Mexico – location, 2015). The total area in of Mexico is 1,964,375 square km which is including land and water (the world fact book. Mexico – area, 2015). The coastline of the country is 9,330 km long (the world fact book. Mexico is a famous country which is located in the southern part of North America. I went to Cancun in spring 2012. It was an amazing trip. I really enjoyed the nature there. Most of Mexico 's land is covered by mountains, with only about a third of the land being flat. Moreover, there are five main areas in Mexico. The first one is The Central Plateau which is located just south of The United States. It increases in altitude from the north to south from more than 910 m and 2,440 m near the border of United States. Furthermore, approximately half of Mexico 's population live in this area. The second area is Sierra Madres which consists of three mountains ending with V shape near the Plateau edge. These mountains are the Sierra Madre del Sur on the south, the Sierra Madre Occidental on the west, and the Sierra Madre Oriental on the east. The third area is Chiapas Highlands. The land in this area is high and rough, especially near the Pacific Coast. The fourth area is Gulf Coastal Plain. The land in this area is low along with the eastern coast. Near Texas boarder in south, it narrows and almost disappears. The last main area in Mexico is Lower California-Sonoran Desert. This area consists of the peninsula of Lower California and the Sonoran Desert. Another physical feature in Mexico is Water. Most of the rivers in Mexico are short and too shallow for navigation. The third physical feature in Mexico is climate and temperature. The differences
Chaco Canyon, located in northwest New Mexico, is full of plateaus and canyons. Though the area may appear
The climate of these areas varies between the mountains and lower plateau regions, and is quite diverse.
The temperate woodland and shrubland biome, also known as chaparral is only found in a couple of places. It tends to grow in regions surrounding oceans such as western North America, central Chile, southwestern Australia, the southern tip of Africa, and around the Mediterranean Sea. In the summer the temperature is about 40 degrees Celsius and in the winter is 10 degrees Celsius. This biome has hot, dry summers and mildly cold, wet winters.
Mexico has a segmented farm structure, and a great deal of rural poverty. Two-thirds of Mexico's poor people live in rural areas, as do three-fourths of the very poor.
Chaparrals have different terrains. For example, they can be flat plains or rocky mountains and hills. Chaparrals are primarily found in California and North of Baja California Peninsula, Mexico. Wildfires are very common since the climate is very dry and hot.
The Earth’s third largest continent, taking up a massive 9.54mi, is North America. With 23 separate countries making up this huge land mass, there is certainly room for variety. One of these countries is Mexico, which is located in the mountainous west. Mexico has its own unique history, culture, and geography that sets it apart from the other countries in North America.
A biome, also known as life zones, consists of all plants, animals, and other organisms, as well the physical environment in a particular area. A biome is characterized by its’ plant life, climate, and location. The climate and physical features determine the boundaries of a biome. A biome is made up of many different ecosystems. The ecosystems tend to have the same pants and animals as neighboring biomes around the boundaries. The major biomes are the tundra, taiga, tropical rain forest, temperate forests, desert, grassland, savanna, chaparral, and marine. Each biome has it’s own characteristics such as the tundra.
