I have had work experience in customer service jobs giving me skills, and the ability to work with different types of people in many situations. I pay close attention to detail and I am a very hard worker. I am friendly, punctual, and eager to learn new skills about early childhood development. I work well with others and have many ideas to improve the company. I am currently studying elementary education at Sierra College, and have taken courses pertaining to child and human development. I am also currently looking to obtain a CPR and first aid training certificate.

Some people have skills that makes them unique, my skill was just always a hands on learner. I have always just enjoyed fixing minor things around my house since I was four. My mother would usually say “Where’s my handyman at?” whenever there were something to fix. Something about getting the knowledge of turning something useless into its original state just intrigues me. When I was around ten years old, I started skating and it had me actually figure out the board completely and learned how to assemble one which gave me more experience.

With given a choice of what to write this paper, I could not get past the subtle nature of who we are as God’s creations. This fundamental truth of our identity is simplified with the truth of our identity in Jesus. We are created in God’s image with a purpose here on earth to display all of God’s greatness, His beauty, and to reveal all of His character aspects. Best of all, we are completely dependent on God. This new enlightenment of my identity in Christ as God’s creation will allow me to help people around the world become one with Christ by revealing the truth of their identity.

Due to my advertising background and my multimedia degree, I am experienced with the use of Adobe Suite PC or Mac base and proficient in other equivalent software. It is necessary to be attentive to format requirements when producing a variety of advertising and marketing material. Examples of these has included graphic tutorials, PowerPoints to for GCSE work all supported by work sheets. Designed and built a variety of websites, sustaining their contents. Produce artwork for exhibition panels and literature to showcase departments. Take photographs and film of events to produce movies. Conducting business today is extremely energy-intensive, which has led to the depletion of our natural resources and degradation of the environment. My goal is to become a Sustainability Manager for a retail or consumer goods company whose sustainability goals are aligned with mine, such as Ikea or Nike. In the long-term, I hope to move up within the organization and become the Head of Sustainability.

I am interested in applying for the acting apprenticeship for the Commonweal Theater Company for the 2017-2018 program. I am a recent graduate of Carleton College, with a degree in Biology, but I have always had a passion for theater and the performing arts. I started dancing when I was 4, was in my first play when I was 8, was a competitive cheerleader and performed in musicals in high school. When I studied at Carleton I danced for student-led ensembles, choreographed for musicals, sang in choir, took voice lessons, and acted in student films and faculty-directed plays. However, like any performer, I faced rejection along the way. I knew that if I wanted to succeed I could never let the dismissals get to me, though sometimes this was harder than others.

I am keen to bridge the knowledge gaps in my current work profile at S&P Capital IQ by enrolling myself in Masters in Business Analytics from Bentley University. This program will bring me closer to my goals, helping me gain an understanding of analytical models, advanced statistics and sophisticated computational tools, and apply the same in business applications. I would love to attend TARGET. Attending The Academy at Rutgers for Girls in Engineering and Technology would be an exhilarating opportunity for me to learn more about engineering and technology. I would like to familiarize them with career opportunities within engineering. Engineering and technology are part of everyday life. Math and science have permanently captured my interest since second grade. I am driven by discovery and innovation, TARGET is just right for me. I love hands-on activities, labs, and projects. The Academy at Rutgers for Girls in Engineering and Technology would allow me to explore my full potential. The Academy at Rutgers for Girls in Engineering and Technology is ideal for me because I am clever, determined, and creative. Therefore, I would love to attend TARGET.

I established and founded 1506 in 2017. Having a 20 year background in business and currently a Certified Stress Management Coach , I decided at first to use 1506 as a platform for adversity and surviving it.  Then during a pivotal point in my life, figured its to grand to be boxed into those categories. 1506, means to me , to survive , to achieve ,and stand on purpose with the foundation of faith.

One of my greatest accomplishments was graduating from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration including an emphasis in finance. While working a full-time job and juggling school activities I completed my degree in three and a half years. My grandfather who was once a Dean of Educational Services at Miami University encourage me along the way. Completing my degree and starting a career in Banking at Wells Fargo brought an abundance of pride to my family. Starting as a Teller I worked my way up to become a Branch Manager in four years. I did not truly know what it meant to practice engineering until the summer after Freshman year of college. I was the first intern at Claret Medical, a company that is working to bring a catheter-based blood filtration device for transcatheter aortic heart valve replacement surgery to market. I began work learning how to operate a mill and lathe, prepare documents for and execute product testing to support clinical efficacy studies, design components to improve manufacturing and perform research and development testing. It was incredible to be part of a team bringing a new product to market that had the ability to save thousands of lives and reduce trauma for people undergoing heart valve replacement. I have literally known what I want to be since I was a toddler. Of course, as a three-year old putting together Legos, I could not have verbalized that I want to be a mechanical engineer. However, it was at that time that I began to develop and use the skills that I will need for my desired career. I began to consider how parts went together and the different components necessary to build and sustain various systems. Part of the inspiration was the simple fun that I had while putting together these small toys, but part of my inspiration was my father. He was a maintenance turn-around coordinator at an oil refinery, which led to my own desire to work as a mechanical engineer in a refinery one day. As I grew older, my interest in mechanical engineering remained constant, though I expanded my interest beyond the oil refineries. In fact, after attending a pre-college program, Jackling Introduction to Engineering, offered by Missouri Science and Technology in Rolla, Missouri in the summer of 2011, I realized that engineering was the perfect way to exercise my curiosity and inventiveness in a constructive and productive manner.

Obstacles had never been obstructing my effort to succeed in life. As an engineer to be, it is important to me to be prepared for the hurdles in the real world. The world nowadays needs a person who could compete and has great abilities to stand on the same level as others. Multiple skills and critical opinion of an issue are essential for an engineer to jump into this challenging career. For me, a strategic planning and full preparation need to achieve the aim of being an expert engineer.
