* Preliminary works shall be inclusive of identification and relocation of services and utilities * Prior to commencement of work, concrete mixed or grout mix design and material shall be submitted for approval. * Reinforcement shall be stored on a firm ground and stacked in such manner as to allow easy identification and lifting. * Platform shall be leveled and compacted for boring rig access purpose. Steel plate may be needed on top of platform for the boring rig in order to distribute its load over ground evenly. * Pile position will be set out by timber pegs in accordance with the coordinates as shown in the drawings. 1.3.5.2 Setting out * Setting out should be carried out using the data and reference points shown on the drawings. * Set out the positions of micro piles as per construction drawings. * The pile layout and the number of piles required are as shown on the construction drawings. * Mark the pile positions with pegs. * Survey the existing ground level at the pile positions.
1.3.5.3 Drilling * The drill rigs shall be set up at pile location. Then the first drill rod with a drill bit positioned above drilled point. The drill rod and mast shall be checked for vertically before drilling work start. The verticality or inclination shall be checked during the
| Stability is the vital factor here, also taking into account the need to withstand additional weight such as furniture, and the effects of strong winds.
We are pleased to attach our tender to the observation deck. This report deals specifically with the engineering design of our design at the new
I began creating the base of the battering ram. I made holes in the middle of the round pieces of wood and put round thin pieces of wood through the middle of the circular pieces of wood to make the wheels. After the wheels
Use the provided ladder for safe access to excavation trenches with a depth greater than 5 feet.
The guidelines herein shall apply to all personnel employed by General Construction, or on site under General Construction’s direction, on an open-sided floor or platform 4 feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level.
The neck 306 extends a predetermined distance from the top plate 302, wherein the neck intersects with a base 218 at an edge opposite where the neck 306 intersects the top plate 302. The neck 306 has a predetermined thickness, which may be either uniform throughout the neck 306 or may be of varying thicknesses. In the exemplary embodiment, the intersection between the neck 306 and the base 218 is chamfered. In additional embodiments, the intersection can have a chamfer of varying degrees. The base 308 extends a predetermined distance from the intersection with the neck 306 to give sufficient surface area for additional features such as the child resistance locking elements. Opposite the edge of the base 308 which intersects with the neck 306, the base 308 intersects with a collar 310. The collar 310 comprises at least one planar surface. Examples of the at least one planar surface, may be, but are not limited to, a concave surface, a convex surface, or a substantially linear surface. The collar 310 has a predetermined thickness, which may be either uniform throughout the collar 310 or may be of varying thicknesses. Opposite the edge of the collar 310 which intersects with the base 308, the collar 310 intersects with a skirt 314. The skirt 314 has a predetermined thickness, which may be either uniform through, or may be of varying thicknesses. The skirt 314 extends a
The project’s critical path begins with MassDOT issues Notice to Proceed to the Contractor and then, the Contractor will Prepare and Submit Large Hook Lock Grates, which will be reviewed and approved by MassDOT. Once the Large Hook Lock Grates are approved, the Contractor will fabricate and Deliver them to the project.
First, as always, contact a knowledgeable foundation inspector. This generally is a civil engineer, structural engineer or P.E., or
debris or allow it to collect near the foundation of the structure. Always maintain a gap of at least 18
The boxes feature sidewalls of varying thickness as well as interchangeable steel or aluminum spreaders. The rent to own steel boxes offered by the company feature reinforced knife edge, pounding pads, all steel design and vertical and horizontal steel members for maximum strength. The aluminum trench boxes are great for light repair work and scheduled maintenance service. The wide ranging Kundel lightweight aluminum hydraulic shoring equipment models are available in different stackable range and sizes.
The number of crushers range from 1 to 2 per block cave depending on size and layout. The crusher chamber at present is the largest and most complicated excavation underground. The size is typically With caverns at depth, the maximum spans of the crusher cavern should be reduced as much as practical. The traditional cavern has spans of approximately 45m (L) x 15m (W) x 40m (H) The design developed for the FOR21 crusher has similar spans of 39m (L) x 12m (W), but the height for the cavern is 23.5m (crusher cavern + feed bin ore-pass).
The project’s critical path begins with MassDOT issues Notice to Proceed to the Contractor and then, the Contractor will locate and establish the Engineer 's Field Office, Mobilize to the project site, install Project and Construction Signage, perform Sedimentation and Erosion Controls, Stake Pre-Stage Pole Locations, Prepare Site for Pre-Stage 1 Utility Relocation, Clearing and Grubbing, perform Tree Trimming and Protection, install Temporary Fencing, Test Pit at Boring BB-4 for Obstructions, Construct Wheel Chair Ramps 3 and 4, Detour Pedestrian Traffic off West Sidewalk and Setup West Work Zone #1.
0 The foundation should safely sustain and transmit to the ground the combined dead and imposed loads of the building without resulting in any settlement or other movement of the building or any adjoining works.
