Q1. What is the approximate, net of tax, present value of the cost savings synergies created by the deal if the relevant cost of capital (discount rate) is 7%?
Photosynthesis is the process in which plants consumed inorganic materials like solar light, carbon dioxide and water and converted it to an organic molecule like sugar and an inorganic gas like oxygen. Light is one of the major elements influencing the rate of photosynthesis; direct light concentration affects the noncyclic pathway (light
12. Describe two ways (two different things you could measure) to estimate the rate of photosynthesis in a particular plant. What specific measurements would you need to make for each in order to estimate GROSS photosynthesis?
In photosynthesis H+ ions are vital in the production of the energy source that is ATP, which is used in several metabolic processes, such as respiration. The photolysis of water produces H+ ions, electrons and O2. The excited electrons lose energy as they move along the electron transport chain, this energy is used to transport the H+ ions (protons) in to the thylakoid, which causes a higher concentration of H+ than there is in the stroma, thus causing a proton gradient across the membrane. The H+ then proceed to move down the concentration gradient into the stroma via the enzyme ATP synthase. The energy from this process is called chemiosmosis and combines ADP with inorganic phosphate (Pi) to form ATP. Light energy is then absorbed by photosystem I (PS I) which excites the electrons to a higher energy level. These electrons are transferred to NADP with H+ ions from the stroma to form reduced NADP. The whole of this process is

The Second Bank of the United States was the countries national bank founded in 1816; this being just five short years after the first national bank expired (1833 Andrew Jackson Shuts Down Second Bank Of The U.S., n.d.). The first national bank was created by Washington and Hamilton in 1791 to house all federal funds. Jackson took office in 1829 and launched an investigation into the policies of this bank and the funding. Jackson, fought for the common man, not just the rich. He did not like his findings due to this and ordered banks closure in 1833; this is what is referred to as the Bank War. He also went as far as to veto an attempt by Congress to make a new branch of the bank, this and other reasons he had a spilt cabinet. Once closed he
Home security systems are a growing industry in the current century because of what is happening in the news today. The security system helps the people feel a sense of ease knowing they are safe and secure in their own homes. The company is looking to upgrade the technology infrastructures for the opening new locations in five different locations to sell home security systems. The company does not have the up front cash and needs to do debt financing to upgrade the growing business. There are negotiable instruments, components of secured transactions, rights, responsibilities, and dissecting the banks

4.) What conclusions can you draw about which color in the visible spectrum causes the most plant growth?
Two with the plant in the dark, and two in the sun with the plants with both colors of BTB. First, our group had two yellow BTB with the plant in the light. Test tube numbers 1 and 4 showed the same results; final colors of blue. Photosynthesis has taken place in the test tube. Then we had two yellow BTB with plants in the dark. Test tube numbers 2 and 3 showed the final colors of yellow. Once we had the yellow, we have the blue. Our group had two test tubes with blue BTB with plants in the light. Test tube 6 and 7 showed the final color of blue because blue already has oxygen in the liquid. And finally, there is blue BTB with plant in the dark. Test tube 5 and 8 showed the final colors of blue. The controls of the experiment where if there was yellow BTB with sun light, it will always turn yellow. And if there was Blue BTB in the sun, the color will always stay the same. My results were not right of the blue BTB with the plant in the dark. I guessed it will turn yellow. There was no results of the color changing because that will be impossible. The blue BTb can not take oxygen away once it's in the matter with the lid capped
The intention of this experiment is to determine the effects of pH on the rate of photosynthesis in living leaves. Photosynthesis is a process by which plants convert light energy captured from the sun into chemical energy which they use to perform various plant functions. During the photosynthesis process, light, carbon dioxide, and water react to produce products: sugar and oxygen. The equation for photosynthesis is:
photosynthesis happens in two stages: light reaction and carbon fixation also known as calvin cycle.light reaction TAKES PLACE IN THYLAKOID USE light energy to produces atp and nadph whereas, calvin cycle takes place instroma uses energy derived from light dependent reaction to make GA3P from CO2 ( Bio166 lab execise manual, 2015). the purpose of this experiment was to separate plant
As it can be seen in the reaction above that water is required in the process of photosynthesis, another thing which can be seen that in the reaction above is that plants need water to produce glucose. Plant gets its water from roots. The Water moves from the dirt into the plants ' roots hair. This occurs by a process called osmosis. Osmosis is the unconstrained net development of dissolvable atoms through a semi-penetrable membrane into an area of higher solute fixation, in the course that has a tendency to even up the solute fixation on the two sides. As I said above that osmosis draws
