While reading and at some points reviewing the documents A through I , I have learned a lot about what was happening during these time periods. In document A it mainly focuses on the back bone of this country's industries, And on two specific by the names of Sacco and Vanzetti that preformed in helping making this country's economy in the way that we see it today, this document also had stated that even at some points men were forced into dramatic situations. In document B which was a picture that was taken of a brewery during the prohibition era. Some of the main points that I was able to pull from this picture was that they essentially had taken the picture as like a “ha ha” we found yah and that they had found a still that was as you could say practically unfindable because the fact that it was built underground but …show more content…

It was inevitable and unavoidable that violence and dispossession were outcomes of the centuries-long confirmation of Native Americans with European settlers and their American descendants. European settlers were relentless whenever they were introduced to things that were appealing to their eye. If they wanted it, then they would go get it due to the superior mindset of the Europeans.
In the aftermath of World War I, during the years 1917-1921, President Wilson advocated the Treaty of Versailles, which called for the principle of self-determination, the formation of a League of Nations, and general amnesty towards Germany, as the solution for peace. However, his unwillingness to compromise led to widespread disagreement. The opposition forces in the U.S. senate consisted of the reservationists, who were willing to ratify the Treaty of Versailles with amendments, and the irreconcilables, who refused to join the League of Nations under any circumstances. If President Wilson was only willing to modify the language of the treaty, ratification may have occurred.

The effects of the Cuban Revolution on women’s lives and gender relations in Cuba from 1959 to 1990 include that some say women have not reached equality yet with men, women gained more opportunities for themselves, economy and politics, and also how women still had responsibility for children and home, not men.
Do people step out of their house without supplies to keep them warm during winter? Valley Forge, a very harsh winter camp made for soldiers, north-west of Philadelphia, lead by George Washington, and the soldiers weren’t appreciated for their work. Would I have quit Washington’s army in Valley Forge? If I were in Washington’s army, I would’ve quit because of illness spreading, the number of deaths, and there were many harsh conditions. If I were in Washington’s army, I would’ve quit because of illness spreading.
People say i'm not smart by still being here but i say it's loyalty and hardship. A week before christmas of 1777, about 18 miles north of Philadelphia, General George Washington and his troops trudged in the snow all the way up, to where they now call it Valley Forge, to get a better view of the British and General Howe. They then set up camp and started making huts to live. Some soldiers are getting sick, and some are getting ready to leave.
Internal improvements, or infrastructure building, such as roads, canals, and harbor facilities, were needed in the southern and western parts of the U.S, to get the goods to market. The east had already built those facilities at their own expense, and the states that needed large capital investment to improve transportation lacked the funds to support them and seeked for federal assistance. Even though some states had already invested in internal improvements, they didn’t want to spend money on those facilities again. During the early 19th century, the federal government avoided the construction of internal improvements. In 1817, President Madison believed that a Constitutional amendment was required for the U.S. to improve or build roads
In document D it says “The very men who made the prohibition law are violating it.” Document D also says “How can you have the heart to prosecute a bootlegger, send a man to jail for six months for selling a pint or quart of whiskey.” This proves my claim because it shows how people weren’t obeying the law yet were taken for the same crimes the government made yet only some were punished. This was only one reason to why America changed its mind but what was
I came to New York from New Delhi (India) due to my father’s tenure here in the Indian Mission. Since the US education was completely alien to me, I had to start all over again and adapt the American way from my Indian roots. Enquiring from the contacts and resources I had I learnt the application process and how colleges work here. I was unaware of what even a college credit meant or the purpose and function of a community college. Once gaining enough knowledge about the higher education system in the US; I felt that attending a community college would help me to adjust better in my prospective senior college, gain experience and even cut costs. This is how I found out about Kingsborough being the one of top four community colleges in the country and it’s wonderful reviews from former successful students, enriching academic programs, friendly
Using an IRT single item to assess each identified domain of HRQOL is a possible solution to the burdensome problem (the existing assessment tools are long), floor and/or ceiling effects (the existing assessment tools may be too easy or too difficult for the examinees), and when using multiple measures are not feasible [39, 40]. Literature supports validity and reliability to use a single item tool to assess health outcomes [39, 41, 42]. Developing a short PRO HRQOL assessment tool for individuals with LBP will decrease the burdensome on patients as well as clinicians. This may facilitate using PROM in the clinical setting for decision making, which may in turn improve the quality of health services. Also, using IRT approach to develop the assessment tool will improve the accuracy of patient report, which will help in making the most appropriate treatment decision.
