Based on the poll, Trump’s rate is increasing. He might be the new president after this election. In order to make America great, he has some plans to improve the American life. As a leader, leading a change is a challenge in an organization. Trump proved his business talent in the real estate industry. Trump wants to change the tax. The changes of tax will impact all people live in the US (Tax plan, 2016). In his tax plan, he wants to reduce taxes for working and middle-income Americans. In the rational model, the first step is defining the goals. When we need to make a decision, we have to know the problem. Only defining the problem could focus on the solution. The next step we need is identifying the solution. We should think of the situation and possible solution. The third step is evaluating the solutions. The leader considers the advantages and disadvantages of possible solutions. In addition, the benefits and costs are leveled. The leader will have the most favorable decision. The last step is to implement the solution. If the solution doesn’t work, the leader could begin this model again and improve the solution until the problem is …show more content…
Trump doesn’t follow this process. When he was asked about the foreign policy issues, he didn’t answer directly. He escaped the questions again and again. The only thing he insists is making America great. But he doesn’t have any preparation to implement this goal. Also, he said he would renegotiate the Trans-Pacific Partnership, relations with China, the Iran nuclear deal, and the partnerships with key allies. I doubt about his negotiation skills. He doesn’t show any knowledge about these international issues. I don’t think he can negotiate with the others. The preparation is an important stage when you try to achieve a good result. You have to know about the problem and consider how to get win-win between the parties. Trump needs to learn how to negotiation. For example, the immigration might be a problem. But this is no way to build a wall to ban the Mexican. The leader should separate the people from the problem. One rule can’t fit all problems. Also, Trump needs to let people trust him. The pursue fairness might help him. The change of tax rate has a significant influence. If people view the process of fair, they would accept it. In addition, Trump should have a BATNA if the agreement is not reached. The BATNA helps the leader make smart choices. Also, the leader could have more bargaining power
However, when confidence in the government is lost due to public crises, people seek a charismatic leader. As a charismatic leader, “men do not obey him by virtue of tradition or statute, but because they believe in him” (Weber 1946, 79). Trump expresses charisma in his determination and vows to make “make great America again”, which impresses his followers. Many may find Trump to be inspiring, honest, or courageous. It’s those unique characteristics that gain him authority and is a powerful form of domination that builds a close relationship between the leader and his/her followers. Trump does not abide by norms or traditional policies, he has a personal approach in the system. His passionate emphasis on his ability to restore broken policies and America, convinces and attracts followers that believe in his infallible
The main issues that need to be resolved are immigration laws, foreign policy, and taxes. Trump will resolve many of our country’s problems by decreasing the number of illegal immigrants and adding more border security. Also, there will be stricter requirements to get into our country. As for foreign policy, Trump will end nuclear deals with Iran, stop
Many people believe that Donald Trump’s presidency is the end of America but, have they read and noted what he plans on doing the moment he steps into office? Donald Trump’s presidency will impact my family, peers, and myself in a positive way because of his economic plans to make more jobs for Americans, plans to improve the collapsing american infrastructure, and his vision on re-establishing taxes and tax policies.
If you were the president of the United States of America what kind of leader would you want to be? You would want to lead your country with pride and power. Donald Trump is committed to his job and making changes not only in America, but also around the world. He has made great improvements in America; a few examples are making a difference with democracy, upholding global democracy/civilian rights and new economics/tax reform. These three issues, and many others, all have something in common; Trump is making these complications into strengths in the United States of America and he has only been in the presidency business for over three years.
From the beginning of his campaign to now, Donald Trump has emphasized his belief that the needs of America need to be placed before the needs of other countries. This is supported by the statement that “[America] is the only country in the world whose immigration system puts the needs of other nations ahead of [its] own. That must change” (Immigration reform [Trump], 2016). Even though he plans to implement policies that promote American opportunity in regard to changes in immigration laws, Donald Trump is at a disadvantage when it comes to policy because he is primarily a businessman and not a politician. That being said, however, Donald Trump still believes that he can make America great again through his immigration reform. Towards the beginning of his campaign, Donald Trump voiced his plan regarding the process of immigrants gaining legal status, saying that he “Would get people out and [he] would have an expedited way of getting them back into the country so they can be legal” (Corasanti, 2016). However, a year later in August of 2016, he stated that “For those here today illegally who are seeking legal status, they will have one route and one route only: to return home and apply for re-entry like everyone else under the rules of the new legal immigration system” (Corasanti, 2016). Donald Trump’s proposed immigration policy has also evolved over the course of his campaign when it comes to the prevalent topic of deporting 11 million undocumented
President, Donald Trump, in his Inaugural Address establishes and presents the goals of his presidency to the people of the United States. Trump’s purpose is to promise the American people change by acknowledging the flaws of the current system and providing specific solutions. He adopts a motivational and comforting tone to address the people in need of hope and an accusatory tone to refer to the old administration, both of which result in the people believing in change and in the concept of making “America Great Again.”
Donald Trump for president? Why Trump? Donald Trump is the Republican leader in polls, yet he has no political experience. Trump is a man of money a billionaire. Without any political experience or knowledge Trump is the Republicans best candidate.
In the most recent presidential campaign, Donald J. Trump made various promises as to what he would do once he was elected. All though Trump made many promises, the most influential include those concerning economy, immigration and refugee policy, and healthcare reform. Some promises have been less specific or more controversial than others, but all of them hold significance for what is to come in these first 100 days of Trump’s presidency. Already some of the promises have been enacted and their effects are beginning to be seen.
These past few months, America has been in a great state of turmoil due to one of the most controversial presidential elections in history, the outcome of which has left the country divided with the question of whether the surprise presidential elect, Donald Trump, is actually fit to be president. He is one of the only people in this nation’s history that has managed to become the presidential elect without being a career politician or having any background experience in that area, and that alone deserves at least a little bit of recognition. For as long as anyone can remember this country has been ran by politicians who have time and time again disappointed the American people. The huge amount of distrust that has built up over the years is why the people began to demand a change and chose a man with no real experience. He is brash and outspoken, yet the formality is just one example of the many changes that are going to begin. While there has been a lot of debate over whether or not presidential elect Donald Trump is fit for office there are positive points to his election such as his views on imposing congressional term limits, bringing jobs back from overseas, as well as his stance on immigration and Obama Care.
As you are keenly aware, on November 9th, 2016, Mr. Trump was elected the 45th President-Elect of the United States of America, and on January 20th, 2017 was sworn in for a four year term as the 45th President of the United States. With Republican majorities in both the United States House of Representatives as well as the United States Senate, the President has laid out a strong agenda on everything from immigration and national security to trade and regulatory reform. While this bold plan of action is not perfect, and there may potentially be areas where I disagree with my colleagues and the President, it is a plan that I am enthusiastic to delve into as our unified Republican government gets to work on behalf of the American people.
Donald Trump will make America the greatest country. Donald Trump will obliterate ISIS. Donald Trump is the roughest, toughest man in the race. Donald Trump is the only candidate who can beat Hillary Clinton in an election. If you have ever been around one of Donald Trump’s cult-like supporters, you may have heard these claims, but 10 seconds researching Trump dispels these claims. Donald Trump as president would be detrimental to America. To dispel these fictitious claims and explain why Donald Trump would be a disastrous president, it is necessary to talk about Trump’s characteristics and Trump’s success record.
From Washington to Washington D.C the idea that Donald Trump could become president has alternately set off fits of laughter and terror. Out of all of the republican candidates Donald Trump is easily most polarizing. People either really love or really hate the businessman, who isn 't afraid to speak his mind.[2] Trump has no experience in politics, but does have the experience as a businessman. Trump’s stance on the issues taking place is difficult to determine, not because he hasn’t made an issue statement but because he has made to many issue statements and has, in fact, been a member of both political parties in previous years.
He is going to try and cut down on immigration and is going to try and make jobs for everybody. I think he is going to try and cut down on where people don't have jobs and open more of them up. He said that he is going to try to build a wall between us and Mexico to try to stop the illegal immigration. He is going to try and stop abortion with something called planned parenthood.
First, he wants to “appoint the toughest and smallest trade negotiators to fight on behalf of American workers.(Fernandez 1). Mr. Trump wants to understand and see where the American workers’ jobs are going. Furthermore, he wants to note why millions of Americans don’t have jobs and who are taking them away. To do that he has to first renegotiate NAFTA or get rid of it (Fernandez 2).What is NAFTA and what mess it is creating? Basically, a trade agreement between the USA, Mexico and Canada formed by Bill Clinton, and it has let many Americans without jobs because most of them have gone to Mexico. That is the main reason Donald J. Trump hates this agreement and how it has destroyed the United States economy to bits and pieces. Additionally, what makes Trump fierce is that China has been stealing American trade secrets for many years. He clearly stated, “If China does not stop its illegal activities, including its theft of American trade secrets, I will use every lawful presidential power to remedy trade disputes, including the application of tariffs consistent with Section 201 and 301 of the Trade Act of 1974 and Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962” (Fernandez 3). Clearly, this shows that Trump is serious about his job and doesn’t care if he is dealing with China. China has been stealing all our trade secrets and Barack Obama didn’t do anything about it. In brief, this clearly shows that our future President has the characteristics and personality of a true leader that is ready for this great battle.
A president with a humble heart would be less likely to become corrupt with power. Since the president’s decisions affect the United States citizens as a whole, the president must be cautious and wise. The president must be sure to explore every available avenue to find the best plan of action which would bring forth the best result. An open mind, a strong sense of diplomacy, honesty, and accountability are also important factors of a good president. Diplomacy is necessary to be able to come to a compromise with an opponent by understanding and using some of the opponent’s proposed ideas to find a middle ground. Presidential candidate Donald Trump does not fit the characteristics a good president should have because of his lack of political background, his narcissism, his inability to argue without committing logical fallacies, and his discriminatory remarks towards people of other races, religions, and
