Everyone should be entitled for an education, no one should be deprived from it, thus governments or people who have the authority and power must provide it to their community. Major movements should be put into place to ensure that every person, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or any other characteristic, would get an education at some point in their lives, especially children.
It is especially important to children as it is a primary socialisation is education at home which is very essential for a child’s educational growth, parents must provide this form of socialisation to their child. A child accepts and learns a set of norms and values based on their culture, these are established by the parents in the process of socialization.
When children are put into educational facilities, they get a chance to connect and surround themselves with others of the same age group. Schools can also have significant influence on a person’s individuality as well as peer groups, which influence a student’s academic integrity greatly. A student will not perform well no matter what the case is, if there is negative influence from his peers and their school environment. They affect a person’s attitude, personality in a positive or negative manner.

When students think of educational schooling, they think of grueling hours of sitting in a classroom and getting lectured about things they do not believe they will ever apply to the real life. Maybe it is just me. Not many students in the more richer and developed countries will ever realize how privileged they are. It is so easy to say that they do not like or want something even when it is presented to them. However, there are still places that are not given the opportunity to improve their lifestyles because they do not have an access to schooling. Environment: Socialisation is important for children. Parents who offer their children varied opportunities in which to meet new people and experience new things give their children an invaluable gift. When they are babies, children need no more than the attentive, loving care given by their parents, but as they grow, it is beneficial for children to expand their worlds by making friends with other people and learning about different cultures. Children who gain a sense of confidence in their ability to interact with people will take them into adulthood making both their personal and professional lives

In addition, schools are like assemblies that are require to follow procedures. Assemblies follow ideas or rules to have organize the people, for this reason schools due the same thing. Petrilli shows how students perform low in their academics’ level, and instead they decide to work because its less challengeable. Yet even with these realizations that delve into the deeper meaning of education, modern education is still calling for simple measurable outcomes and continues to be geared towards specific employment ideas. This model of education is blatantly inadequate though. Many students today will end up holding jobs not yet invented in fields not yet discovered, so the teaching of answers to today’s questions is utterly useless. Albert Einstein once said, “Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think.” and this statement reigns true throughout time. To continue academic success, the education system needs to impart a mastery of one’s own mind that allows students to not only answer current questions but also to pose questions that will shape the future world.
It is important to respect and understand a child and their families culture because if educators don’t it can make it difficult for families to feel a sense of belonging to the centre. As educators it is important for us to help families and their children develop a cultural identity and sense of belonging but it is important we don’t change the families parenting style, we just assist them in any way we can. It helps children feel positive about their culture if they feel a sense of belonging within a child care, school and community. Educators can use the internet and community to learn more about the languages, traditions, beliefs and values of the children’s cultures so that they can help the children feel more positive about their culture
Prior to higher education, students attend primary and secondary school for a combined total of 12 years. Educational systems are to ensure the future generation of citizens technologically advanced skills to be productive members of the society. The mission of schools are to create sharp thinkers by means of maximizing their students’ academic and social development (Working, 1906). In focusing on this mission, occasional misbehaviors by the students or school personnel cause districts to investigate violations and mete out punishment.
This quote has always been inspiring in my life. I believe learning is not limited to just the classroom but takes places through out our life. Right education not only enhances personal development and social inclusion, but also increases competitiveness.
"The more we know the world around us, the more successful we will be." This quote, from the introduction of my high school chemistry book, was my driving force as a teenager to attend college. My expectations of college were to gain insight into a world that I had not yet discovered. I had high aspirations of receiving a good education and obtaining a good job when I graduated. But four years later when graduation day arrived, I felt unfulfilled. In evaluating my education, I realized that I learned how to get good, but not great grades. I learned how to study to make the most of my time. The focus I shared with many of my peers was not always to appreciate the information received, but rather,
General collaboration with public schools will help individual students achieve these skills to facilitate the raising of standards to a better society. Attending public schools should have a positive impact for community growth and betterment but also the human development of the individuals attending. Education at home and expanding it at school are the foundation for developing respectable citizens. Parents need to stop thinking of school as a place to send their kids so they are in a safe place while they are at work. Teachers should stop seeing children as just a part of their job and get paid accordingly. Public schools can produce all types of young adults but it takes the support of the family and the efforts of all mature adults that come in contact with them to assist in the grooming and educating of well behaved, respectful and respected young adult citizens (Allaria 2011).
Low self-esteem and low educational expectations for themselves is a sure sign (Eckstem,1987; Rumberger, 1983). Ambient emotions are signs and they consist of fear, anxiety, and boredom (Connell, 1990). One of the subjects, Joey, understood the importance of learning and school, however, he did what was culturally right for him (Willis, 1977). Student’s seem to think that social context such as family support and school environment has a direct influence on self-system and then it leads to affecting the student’s action (Connell, 1990). Many of the risk factors that are examined are self-esteem, locus of control, and educational expectations (Dyaski, Gleason, 2002). Studies have shown that students with low literacy skills tend to have lower grades and that leads to disengagement (Pinkus, 2008). If teachers have high expectations to the point students cannot seem to meet them they become discouraged and disengaged (Pinkus, 2008). Noticing when a student is not getting enough praise or effective praise is important because this can cause students to draw away from school. (Hallinan, 2008). Failing grades in core courses is a sign (Pinkus, 2008). Feelings of being ignored, misunderstood, devalued, and disrespected are hard signs to see, however, extremely important ones (Pinkus, 2008). Students can be affected by many things, teachers need to try to determine whether it is a sign or if the student is just having a bad day. Some things that may affect a student
Second of all, talking about Socialization, which is the lifelong process in which people learn the attitudes, values, and behaviors appropriate for members of a particular culture, it is a very important process for children because it prepares future adult to participate in a group by teaching them the expectations held by other group members. It is so important for me because it allow me to learn how to learn values and attitudes.
Socialization is not something that just happens and then you are done, it is a process that continues throughout your life. It is how individuals gain their self-identity, as well as physical, mental and social skills that enables us to function in society (Kendall, 2017, p.87). Socialization aids us in being able to communicate with others in different environments and situations. Socialization allows a society to regenerate by passing on its culture through one generation to another. Family is considered the most important agent of socialization because socialization begins when we are born. Through our families we are taught about our culture and social values. Education in Nigeria formally commences from 2 years of Kindergarten, 6 years of elementary, 3 year of junior secondary, 3 years of senior secondary school, and 4 years finally college and/or university. This system of education is introduced with the prime aim of ensuring that Nigerians of school age get the most out of formal education and hence well equipped to contribute positively to the community. Education is a lifespan process and is acquisition of skill and knowledge. Education according to Prof. Fafunwa is, “the aggregate of all the processes by which a child or adult develops the abilities, attitudes and other forms of behavior which are of positive value to the society in which he lives.” (Educational System in Nigeria). The issue is does Nigeria educational system upholds the true definition of education in its practical terms. An objective review of the contemporary educational system in Nigeria definitely shows that the system in total collapse.
