Electronic Cigarettes: Article Analysis

E-cigarettes were originally known as electronic nicotine delivery system. They are now known as vapes, e-hookah, and e-cigs. E-cigarettes work by heating nicotine and other chemicals to make vape. E-cigarettes are new to this society. In the article What We Know about E-Cigarettes,” Most people try and use to stop smoking cigarettes” (paragraph 5). In the same article, it says, “the FDA is working hard to regulate e-cigarettes” (paragraph 3). E-cigarettes are becoming so popular teens are starting to smoke e-cigarettes. A lot teens are introduced to teen by peer pressure. Teenagers should be banned from e-cigarettes because it’s addictive, and it ruins your health, and it’s against the law.

Teens are smoking e-cigs and something needs to be done. One “pod” promises the amount of nicotine equal to an entire pack of conventional cigarettes. E-cigs are easy to hide and come in a variety of flavors. The Food and Drug Administration decided to hold off on implementing an already finalized rule that would regulate e-cigarettes. Postponing a regulation on e-cigs is a mistake.

There is a trend sweeping across the nation, a trend that is a healthier alternative to smoking, a trend that is saving lives, and it’s called Vaping. This sensation become very popular and wide spread during the year of 2003 when they became open to the public. Although this is much healthier than smoking it does terrify a large group of men and women. Electronic cigarettes being regarded as tobacco products may assist in deferring children and persons under the age of eighteen from trying them. Legislation wants to label vaporizers and their corresponding liquids as tobacco products; while this is rightfully so, the new technology is not as deadly as commonplace tobacco products.

Many people smoke e-cigarettes instead of regular cigarettes because they think they are a safe alternative. There is less smoke and they taste good! So they must be ok, right? Well that’s not so true. The chemical diacetyl is found in 75% of e-cigarettes. This chemical is linked to respiratory disease. It’s also the chemical that is used to flavor the smoke from your e-cigarettes taste good. In some States teens as young as sixteen are able to buy e-cigs from gas station in my opinion i think it's illegal to let teens buy e-cigarettes they can get lung disease known as popcorn lung

Imagine if there were an alternative to smoking cigarettes. Imagine this alternative could help millions of people quit smoking and comes with only a fraction of the harmful chemicals that cigarettes do.
