All Americans require assurance and protection measures to shield their daily lives and healthcare laws, government regulations, and approaches do only that. The United States government manages these requirements with the expectation of enhancing the strength of the general population while building up the tools, alongside resources and programs to associate in the conveyance of medical care services. The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) alongside the security law have affected preventive care services and how it is conveyed. The American Health Care system needs to be constantly improved to keep up with the demands of America’s health care system. In order for the American Health Care system to improve policies must be constantly reviewed. Congress still plays a powerful role in public policy making (Morone, Litman, & Robins, 2008). A health care policy is put in place to reach a desired health outcome, which may have a meaningful effect on people. People in position of authority advocates for a new policy for the group they have special interest in helping. The Health care system is formed by the health care policy making process (Abood, 2007). There are public, institutional, and business policies related to health care developed by hospitals, accrediting organizations, or managed care organizations (Abood, 2007). Strategic leadership in healthcare is the act of transforming a health care organization so that its daily functioning matches the organization’s vision, core values, the cultures it serves, as well as organization’s culture, organizational climate and structure. Do you know leaders in healthcare have a new style of managing? Healthcare field is one of the fields that changes occur frequently. With the introduction of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) brought a lot of changes in every aspect of healthcare delivery, from reimbursement to quality control to elimination of wasteful and inefficient practices and having huge impact on the U.S. healthcare delivery system, with many more changes to come. When leaders in healthcare organizations are asked, “what’s the one word that best characterizes the impact of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) on the U.S. healthcare delivery system,” most will answer “change”. These changes also brought new managing styles to healthcare leaders. I would be writing in my own discourse community, which is Health Systems Management. To give guide lines for a neighbor who is thinking of jointing this discourse community, how we operate and to be successful in this filed.

It is most relevant to remember is that qualitative is the strongest level of evidence produced by research. Based on this, the nurse will realize that the knowledge in a research study can be used for clinical research when the concepts that are of interest are translated into measurable characteristics (Houser, 2013). On that note the critical care thinker should look for an article that has multiple credible researchers. That way he or she is sure that the article has conformability. much the same as quantitative research study makes use of a thorough analysis that focuses on potential sources of bias and error and then applies strict standards to the evaluation of methodology and design (Houser, 2013) then the nurse ought to utilize these

While many health care practitioners are willing to change, the issue is that change is often mismanaged by leaders whom are either incompetent or lack the resources to follow through in the implementation of change. An example was documented in a study of a California hospital unit where patient satisfaction scores rose and immediately fell. At the time, the hospital was going through transition. The nurses in the unit saw this as an opportunity to improve patient satisfaction score. They initiated the process by recommending that the new chief executive officer (CEO) change the current procedure to one that could led to the improvement of patients’ satisfaction. The result, in a few months
A country’s economy and well-being depends upon how strong its healthcare system is. A country would grow into a stronger nation if the people are mentally and physically stronger. Moreover, healthcare systems are usually complex and complicated systems and thus, they need a lot of attention. As Donley (2005) states, “[t]he changing patterns of health care delivery have increased complexity in all practice environments” (p. 314). By a complicated system, it means how different healthcare organizations together play a pivotal role in measuring success of a country’s healthcare system. These healthcare organizations further rely on various departments within the system which are in turn led by various leaders. Thus, it is evident how leaders are the key link in deciding the fate
Mathematica Policy Research (MPR) and two consultants, Leigh Linden and Harounan Kazianga, conducted an independent evaluation of the Millennium Challenge Corporation’s (MCC) two-year threshold compact in Burkina Faso, which was aimed at increasing educational attainment for primary aged girls. The goal of the Burkinabé Response to Improve Girls ' Chances to Succeed (BRIGHT) program, implemented from 2005 to 2008, was to improve the educational outcomes of primary school students by targeting enrollment rates, and math and French scores.
