Group Project Reflection

In my undergraduate work, almost all of my classes that were directly related to my major required at the least one group project. In the beginning this was not something I was very fond of mostly because I had some bad experiences when it came to working with others on projects. Usually it was the problem of people not pulling their own weight, and doing their parts to help with the tasks. When it came time to have the assignment complete it was even harder to give a grade to those people. I did not want to be the guy who caused someone to throw someone under the bus. However, after I thought about it, I did want to be that guy because in the real world on a work project if there was someone who did not pull their weight in the job projects would not be successful. I would always stress myself out more than necessary because I was independent in getting jobs done, and did not feel the need to get others ideas. Once I started to realize getting help from others who work right next to me on projects and finding out their ideas, and letting them have some of the responsibilities in helping me create successful tasks, my life became a whole lot easier. The work load is not as hard, and work tasks that would seem in the beginning so hard to figure out, and at times feel like a huge burden, had become less difficult. I think there are times when projects can get done on my own, without a problem. However, since I have this new-found strength of asking others for help, and getting them on board with completing the big jobs I have a lot more trust in others work ethic, and not having as much stress on
