Until the 1960's, the majority of the children used to wear Halloween outfits made by their moms. This was principally in light of the fact that the dresses that children wore in those days were for the most part straightforward outfits and plastic or paper veils that made a child show up like apparition, witch, sovereign, princess or pixie. Kids Halloween outfits have progressed beyond anyone's expectations from that point forward. They are accessible in entire loads of assortments today from conventional Halloween ensembles to some awe inspiring outfits focused around different subjects and characters. Halloween place in town. Back then, as 5th graders our definition of “cool” was what our parents will not and will allow us to do. Thing was, I had already known Screamland Farms because some friends had been there before. They had shown me pictures that were so scary they temporarily inscribed into my head. However, I did not want to be that one person who missed out fun things. After much needed convincing and coaxing from my friends I decided to go to this Halloween event. My parents did not mind as long as we went with at least one
Dressing up in costumes, trick-or-treating and carving pumpkins into funny faces. These traditions are part of Halloween, a holiday known for fun, games and of course candy. At least in this day and age, the excitement that the public feels for this undocumented holiday isn’t the same as it was 2,000 years ago. For the story of Halloween dates back thousands of years to a festival called Samhain (pronounced sow-in). A group of people known as the Celts celebrated it to mark the end of the harvest season. Halloween is upon us, and Red Tiger Gaming are using this as the perfect time to release a new slot machine game. It is known as Halloween Fortune, and is expected to be a really big hit this October. In the nineteenth century, immigrants from Ireland and Scotland carried versions of the Halloween tradition to North America. Other countries such as Puerto Rico, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand adopted the holiday as well.
It was on Halloween the day every one goes trick-or-treating. My mom asked me “Don’t you want to go trick-or- treating,” and I said “no way leave trick-or-treating to the little kids”. Then someone told my mom about a haunted house in Event Park then she told me about it and asked if I wanted to go of course I said yes. So we went to Event Park where it did not look that scary on the outside put when we got it was scary.

When you hear the word Halloween you often think about candy, costumes, and children having fun; but how much do we know about the holiday itself? Maybe everybody should know what the origin of Halloween has. The first paragraph deals with how this celebration started. The “trick or treat” part. Why is this the most important part of the of this celebration. How will this contribute to the pagan Halloween origins? Why is this part of the Halloween celebration? Could this be also part for the economy? Costumes! Halloweens is also known for its dark color for clothing and part for scaring away people. Just how much do we know about them? This celebration we should no longer be considered a holiday.
Three weeks after our arrival in California, a group of children knocked at our front door at twilight, dressed in strange costumes. When Aunt Lis opened the door, they chimed “Trick or treat!”and she gave them each a handful of candy. Just as the group cheered in appreciation while they left our house, another group of kids showed up for a repeat of the same.
The best Halloween I ever had was at my cousin Dexter’s house in Utah. I had an amazing time hanging out with him and his friend Dawson. We played night games and joked around with each other and had a good time. We even had a lot of fun playing basketball with each other. I knew it would be the best Halloween ever.
