It is very important to live a healthy life and be active, being thin and also means that you have a greater chance for living longer. On the other hand being unhealthy can cause short term effects such as being overweight and not having an active life and it can also cause long term effects such as osteoporosis, hypertension and cardiovascular disease. Eating and being healthy always feels good, there are so many impacts on being a healthy individual. There are many good and bad ways in having individual, sociocultural and economic factors in your life. Sometimes trying to be active is hard.

Being unfit and unhealthy can cause bullying and can lead to having no friends. It can also lead to depression, people who are overweight find it hard to socialise with other people. Other people are just lazy and can’t be bothered to socialise. For an example; A teenager is overweight and he wants to socialise with other people, but people keep teasing him about his weight, so he gives up, he can’t be bothered and he just sits at home and eats. Keeping healthy, fit and eating nutrients can make a person's social life more desirable.

Economic factors are another example that people cannot be bothered participating in because it involves money, such as going to the gym and having to pay for it every week or just buying healthy food in general as it is more expensive than junk food. For an example; a 28 year old an is overweight and believes he should save his money on more ‘important” stuff but really the most important thing is to keep healthy. It is definitely worth spending money to keep yourself healthy and active.

Therefore, good lifestyle choices means a healthy and active life which also means that people can feel good about themselves and feel comfortable and confident with socialising. It also reduces the risk of short and long term effect, thus making it important to eat and stay healthy. This reveals that being nutritious and healthy can save your life and make you feel more
