As we continue in our busy lives, we always take into account what the next days, weeks, or even months hold for us. But what do we Americans hope for in future years, as a country? There have been several events that have occurred around the world affecting our lives in a positive way. However, there were many crises that have set us back, though we try to strive and become even stronger. To continue improving America, we must have the ability to come together as a whole and progress as the days go by, setting a foundation for our future generations. Unity is a key component for the future of America. People must respect each other's differences. It should not matter what one's race, religion, nationality or sexual preference is, because in …show more content…
We need to find ways on expanding housing for low income families and reduce health insurance costs so everyone is covered. Whether a person has cancer or a simple cold, requires medical care. The government should increase in financial aid grants for private schools and provide free public education for all students from preschool, to individuals wanting to proceed to a college education. This will reduce the unemployment rate; expand small businesses in our communities and create more job opportunities for our graduates. In addition to solidarity, America must establish good and reliable foreign relations. This would form peace and safety in America and globally. In hopes that there will be no nuclear war and avoid our soldiers and civilians from harm, it is crucial for our President to establish strong relationships with foreign leaders; to listen, communicate and negotiate in ways that will benefit the entire country and avoid any rivalry. My hope for a better future in America is focusing on our people and progressively finding ways to discount hate, terrorism, poverty and unite as a whole. This could be accomplished by strengthening our communities, healthcare and education for our future generation. My message to all is to be strong and keep hope
The former president Abraham Lincoln once stated “America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.” No one can defeat us unless we destroy our country from inside. I want to become a president of the United States of America because my goal is to help everyone in the nation. As a president, I wish to fulfill my goals by improving on healthcare policy’s, immigration policies, and economic growth.
I want this country to be near perfect, it is my obligation to contribute to that. I need to make it a better place. John F. Kennedy once said, “And so my fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country.” I think we all need to thrive to make our country a better and safer place. A good world starts with good people and we need to make it happen.
In American history, many events have changed the country; in spite of wars, attacks, and disasters; people still have hope for a bright future.
We are the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America. We face the future with warm courage and high hope. For we have the clear consciousness of seeking old and precious values. For we are the builders of homes, homes for America's future, homes where living will be the expression of everything that is good and fair, homes where truth and love and security and faith will be realities, not dreams. We are the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America. We face the future with warm courage and high
Throughout history, America has been put to the test time and time again. We have endured a revolution, two world wars, a Great Depression, and we pulled ourselves back together after nearly being torn in half by a horrific civil war. But if there is one thing that we can learn from this, it is that progress can only be made through struggle. The struggle that I speak of is that which our founding fathers fought to form this great nation, the brave struggle fought by slaves to gain their freedom, the struggle that Martin Luther King, Jr. fought for civil rights, and the heroic struggle that was fought on the golden sands and blood-stained beaches of Normandy. All of these struggles were fought with the spirit of change
Living in the early 1900s, America should maintain its competitive edge and dominance in the world, by expanding our influences into new territories. Our population is increasing quickly as are our many industries, therefore creating a greater demand for resources. There is the possibility the existing resources will not be able to sustain these increases. William McKinley in The Acquisition of the Philippines states that “Incidental to our tenure in the Philippines is the commercial opportunity to which American statesmanship cannot be indifferent. It is just to use every legitimate means for the enlargement of American trade” Acquiring islands, such as the Philippines, will give America a large commercial opportunity and enlarge our areas of trade. This will improve the American economy, because we will have more goods to trade, and different countries to trade with, hence bringing in more goods.
American History our hope for the future, Our hope for the future should represent Ronald Reagan’s quote “Let’s make America great again.” We can make america great again by helping others, letting people know what is right and what is wrong, and to help others succeed. When it comes to making america great again, we should all unite as if we are one big state. In this world we shall all be together, with one another whether it’s to support or just to be there to help them. Sometimes all it takes is to be there for someone, it doesn't have to be a person you love or even know.
JIt’s obvious America is not the best country in the world. It’s true, rankings do exist in which America is not number one. Therefore it is illogical to say that no other country is better than us. Although on the other hand, simply stating “America is not the best country in the world” does not really paint a clear picture either because for each country that proves that we are not the best, many many more that prove we are not the worst. America has an extremely high GDP which allows it to have influence over the world, which is important because it forces other countries to care about our well-being.
In the future, I hope that America isn’t destroyed by society’s cruel ways, poverty, and by giving all their money to other countries. The U.S. seems to have all the peaches and roses but in reality now in today society everyone seems to be at war with each other because of race. Poverty is another problem, which they should try to help those who are poor instead of leaving them to rot in the street like if they were nothing. Then lastly, they should try to avoid giving so much money to other countries. Their debt is so high that 18 trillion wasn’t even a thing until America began to have so much debt.
Unity: what a misleading phrase. Unity inspires thoughts of togetherness and homogeneity. Americans believe unity is the seed of diversity, but it isn’t. American ideologies are built upon the melting pot approach, and many believe diversity is promoted. It isn’t. American societal norms want to change, but the force of the majority greatly outweighs the voice of the minority; therefore, individuality and diversity are reduced to soft-spoken rabble.
The future I envision for America is one where we can all stand for one another and support each other surrounded by love. I want one where we don’t have to be scared to ask for help and feel ashamed. People need to wake up and realize that there’s something beyond one’s self.
My third hope for the future of America is healthcare. Every person should have access to healthcare in America. Virtually no one can afford to pay for medical bills out of pocket. An estimated twenty seven million people don’t have any type of healthcare. Hospital bills can put someone under and homeless healthcare is a must have because those things do happen. A future where people aren’t paying out of pocket costs and saving them thousands of
Following the tragic shooting in Las Vegas and the numerous natural disasters the United States has faced this year, the American people have shown unity and pride once again by helping those who have been affected by these terrible events. It is my hope for the future that there will once again be pride for our nation, a strong will to help those in need and a desire to protect our beautiful country without a terrible event happening first. I believe we can look back at history and see how far our country has came and chose to solve the issues we have today with
As I consider what is in America’s future, I look towards the same ideals and values that formed the foundation of America when it first began. I can foresee the citizens of this nation upholding these principles in high regards and improving upon how they are applied for generations to come. Some of that which makes America the greatest country in the free world would include: the ability to express oneself, the right to be treated the same by all, standing up for what is right, working together for a common goal, and showing pride in our nation.
In order to bring greater unity in our country we have to use education. We must start educating people to be more tolerant. I think the best way to do this is to start with the children. They need to be taught in school that discrimination is not okay. They need to be taught that people come in all different shapes and sizes and they should not be discriminated against because they are fat or if they are short. People shouldn’t make fun of people because of thier hair. We need to teach them that it doesn’t matter what someone looks like all that matters is how they treat you. Teach them that people also talk differently and have accents based on where they grew up. People have disabilities some which they were born with and its not their fault. This does not make them any less of a person and they should be treated equally. People choose to have piercings and tattoos because they like it but that does not mean they are bad people. People have different religions and that not everyone is going to agree on the same things. Everyone should have the right to believe in what they want to and it should be respected. You may disagree but should do it respectfully and not insultingly. People go through tough times its part of ife. Some people are less fortunate than others. People struggle and unfortunate things happen to them. We shouldn’t make fun of that or look down upon that. We should help those people who need it. If someone is homeless and begging for money, we should help him or her. We should all help those less fortunate because if we were in their position we would want kind caring people to help us. That’s what it all boils down to. Respect and love. Treating others the way you want to be treated. If you don’t like be treated badly why would you go around treating others badly?
