Infosys technology, a leading software company based in India, was voted as the best employer in the country in many HR surveys in the recent years. The company is well known for its employee friendly HR practices. Though Infosys has grown to become a US $ 2 billion company by the year 2006, it has still retained the culture of a small company. According to Narayana Murthy, what Infosys has on its side is "youth, speed, and imagination and [they] are constantly innovating in every area of [their] operation." The founders' efforts have been paying off. According to a California-based management consultant working in India, "Infosys has been critical in changing the mind-set of India." Transparency is one of the important values held by Infosys. A practice illustrative of this value is its very early decision to adopt the US GAAP standards, the most stringent standards, for reporting its financial results.
Hema Ravichandar, the Senior V-P of Human Resources, sums up the characteristics of the culture that distinguish Infosys from its competitors:
"Our emphasis on transparency and communication sets us apart from the prevalent family owned businesses operating in India at. Our emphasis on getting the employees' emotional buy-in into the company distinguishes us from the MNC's that have recently entered the Indian business scene."
The attempt to ensure emotional buy-in is evident in their effort to provide a self-sufficient work environment for their employees. Health Information Management is the department that supports a concise understanding and guidance for clinical information shared in a patient's EHR. The expectations of the HIM department can work with providing health care professionals on enforcing a new rule or policy within the critical value list for detecting the early symptoms of sepsis. Also, building a stronger communication between the clinical laboratory and the HIM departments could impact a patient receiving the proper care in a timely manner. For example, receiving lab results on potential patient with sepsis and documenting it right away. Safety is a major concern when it comes to the excavation and trenching of soil. While large machines can perform these tasks effectively when there is adequate space, mini diggers are the better alternative for those places that have limited space. Heavy, massive excavators will not manoeuvre easily in these spaces, and this may lead to accidents and injuries. On the other hand, mini excavators can work efficiently in the limited space and dig a trench as well as their larger counterparts do no matter the purpose of the trench.

As the world is turning out to be more aggressive and unstable than any other time in recent memory, producing based enterprises are looking to increase upper hand at all cost and are swinging to more inventive sources through HRM practices (Sparrow, Schuler, & Jackson, 1994). HR practices has been defined by (Smallbusiness.chron.com, 2016) as “the means through which your human resources personnel can develop the leadership of your staff.”
