There are at least two reasons for climate change. Car pollution , and factory pollution are two of the major for this. What we do to stop car pollution is to either prevent use of the car or use it , unless when people need it. Car pollution can cause serious injury or problems with the species , plants, or people its can do alot of dangerous things. We could prevent this by useing the car saturdays and using it helps to not use the vehicle a lot the vehicles ha dangerous chemicals like gas fluids for vehicles , and more chemicals can kill you .
The factory pollution is the same thing it is dangerous and they let out pollution it can damage the same way as car . But it is more dangerous where it is around nature it , releases smog it can
Currently the human race is coming to terms with one of the most monumental problems of its own creation : air and water pollution. The poisoning of the very air we breathe and the water that we drink has become too prolific to ignore any longer. One culprit ? Automobiles. The more smoke we expel from the exhaust pipe, the more we exhaust our environment and poison the air and water that allows us to exist. But what can we do to reduce the amount of pollution we produce ? It’s not like we can just stop driving ,right ? Wouldn’t it have an adverse effect on our productivity or make it harder to get to work ? It’s not like it would make a difference anyway, right ? Well not necessarily, currently there are entire countries banning automobiles
Air pollution is air with a lot of chemicals in it that makes it hard for us to breathe. We breathe 2 gallons of air per minute which makes it 3400 gallons of air each day. Above 50,000 people die in America due to air pollution. 80% of our lung disease are caused by the pollution of the cars. Indoor air pollution is 2-5 times worse than the air outdoors. Ways to reduce air pollution is by wearing mask continually to save ourselves from air pollution. Electric vehicles produce less air pollution because they don’t produce gas. Another way to reduce it is that ensure new vehicles had to be fitted with catalytic converters. With these changes it also reduces ozone pollution. Ozone air irritant your eyes, nose and throat. By making these changes it would be easier for everybody to breathe.
Whether climate change occurred by human activities or naturally accruing phenomenon is a debatable issue. However, it may safely be said releasing carbon dioxide is one of the main reasons for climate change. Human activities such as the burning of fossil fuels from using transportation and maintaining agriculture are major contributions of greenhouse gases emissions, which lead to climate change. They can be solved by reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
1 day- As the Earth rotates on its axis that creates seasonal variability, other factors that may impact the climate systems are volcanic aerosols which cool climate and shorten growing seasons. As the global radiation increased, so did the erythemal dose rate. As the hours the day began surface temperature would slowly rise and as the day ended the temperature went down. Climate is measured by devices used to track annual variability and climate patterns include thermometers, rain gauges, and stream gauges.
Climate change is a massive issue that is caused by many different things however, the main reason is greenhouse gasses. Greenhouse gasses are gasses, carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide being the main three (Greenhouse Gases), that allow direct sunlight to reach the surface and
One of the many advantages of limiting car use is it’s better for the environment. In Elisabeth Rosenthals “In German Suburbs, Life Goes On Without Cars” she says that cars are responsible for fifty percent of greenhouse gas emissions in the United States. In some places like Paris they have had to temporarily ban the use of cars on certain days to try and reduce the smog in the air because near record pollution caused by cars (Source 2) was becoming such a huge
There are many ways to reduce pollution like You can help the cause one way by, joining GreenPeace!
Recently, studies have showed that motor vehicles are the causes of pollution and climate change. Some may argue that the governments should not do anything to solve this problem, however, I believe that the governments should take action to regulate automotive emissions and enforce public transportation. Motor vehicles release too much carbon dioxide, we should decrease the amount of vehicles on the road, and more people should use public transportation instead of using their own vehicles.
The definition of pollution is “the action of causing something to become impure; unsafe; unsuitable.” My theory is that if everyone who drove an electric car drove a gas car there would be a higher level of air pollution. Then there is the fact that if the air pollution gets high enough it can start to harm us. This is a problem because millions of Americans live in an area with high amounts of toxic pollutants, which pose deliberate health concerns. A few of the effects of people exposed to high levels are irritated eyes, nose, and throat; coughing; wheezing; difficulties breathing; tight chest; asthma; increased chance of a heart attack.
Climate change can be prevented with proper equipment like weather radars, but society also has to listen to the experts when they provide them with information. According to Tori Jennings Climate change mitigation is too reduce or prevent a future global climate change (Jennings, 2011). For example, when global warming was first talked about by experts, they had mentioned that factories and cars should be used less because pollution would have an effect on global warming. According to Palmer, Climate change is affected by cars because of the pollution vehicles create. Some toxins that are released by a vehicles exhaust are carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, and hydrocarbons (Palmer, 1911). These are just a few that are affecting our
What are climate change and global warming? Does it affect today’s earth? To know what is climate change and global warming we must know what does weather and climate mean. Weather is what circumstances of the atmosphere are over a short period of time. Climate is how the atmosphere acts over fairly long periods of time. Since 1977 earth has been extraordinary warmer than its average. But what causes the earth to get warmer? The main cause of climate change and global warming is made by human activities putting too much carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
The two main factors of climate change are humans and natural causes. It is believed that humans are a huge major cause of climate change because we use energy by driving cars, heating and cooling our houses and cooking food. Humans get their energy from burning coal, oil and gas, which release different types of gases into our atmosphere and this causes the air temperature to rise. This does not only change the climate of one place, it changes the Earth’s global climate. Even though a major cause of climate change is human, we are not the only cause. Scientists have studied volcanic eruptions which have serious consequences for our planet. Volcanic eruptions cause molten rock, or lava, to release and form new rock on the Earth’s surface. But the eruptions also impact the atmosphere by changing the global climate. During a volcanic eruption, different types of gases and dust particles are released and are shot out into the atmosphere. Those particles cool the planet by blocking entering sunlight, referred to as the cooling effect (UCAR 1). Scientists have also studied noticeable environmental changes that affect our climate. Examples are rising sea levels due to glaciers melting and shrinking along with ice on rivers and lakes melting and breaking. Scientists also believe that temperatures will continue to rise due to greenhouse gases produced by human activities. Greenhouse gases will cause higher temperatures year round, a longer frost-free season, changes in precipitation
Pollution is a big problem in this day and age. Some pollution comes from burning gas to fuel our cars or some other forms of pollution comes from volcanoes. Carbon dioxide is the main pollutant warming the earth. But if we start producing less carbon dioxide then the earth will heat up even more. I know it’s crazy right. Carbon dioxide can be produced by cars, planes, power plants, and many more activities that involve the burning of gas.
Car pollution causes immediate and long-term effects on our environment and our health. Car exhausts emit a wide range of gases and solid matter, causing global warming, acid rain, and harming the environment.
Pollution effects every ecosystem on the planet. You can look into any ecosystem and instantly see the effects of pollution. Humans are always harmed by pollution. Pollution can kill human and animals, contaminate water, and even kill large crops.Big factories so some of the worse polluting, the dismiss large amount of chemicals in the smoke, they then rise which will put wholes in the ozone layer. That can let the harmful radiation from the sun in the air we breath. Long term exposure to air pollution can lead to chronic respiratory disease and lung cancer. Many people don’t realize that pollution drastically effects the planet and every living thing on the earth. We the population need to come together and slow pollution down before its too late.
