Management Information Systems are information system that evaluate, analyse, and process an organisation's data to produce meaningful and useful information which the management team can utilise and make right decisions to ensure future growth of the organisation. These systems include a collection of business processes and individual routines (standard operation procedures) which make up the firms business to achieve high levels of organisational performance. For any information to be efficient and effective, and to add value and knowledge to the business, the information needs to be controlled and managed in the business.
