As we can see piracy of software and other digital media is a global problem that adversely affects many businesses and the welfare of employees and consumers.

After all, Microsoft, as a seller, can dictate the terms that it wants to sell to its consumers, leaving it up to the consumers as to whether they want to buy the product or not.
