The first reason I think I deserve a 90 is that I am always on task.I spend all the time that I need,on my work.Whether I do some during one period and some during another, but I use my time as needed.Sometimes I will finish my work before the due date so I just use that time to do whatever or work on other classwork .Whatever it is that

On my self- assessment I score 76 out of 80 on Discovering Self-motivation, Mastering Self-management, and Believing in Myself. I got high score on these because I feel that have gotten better on what I do. I started to believe in myself because I know I can do better. Also I know that there is something better for me and now I’m following what my mind tells me to do. The lowest score I got is 43 out of 80 in Employing Interdependence. Because I like to do things by myself I don’t like when people tell me what to do.

By doing the self-assessment, I learned that I am really good at asking others for help. I wasn’t really surprised with the score I got on “Employing Interdependence” because I tend to ask for help when I come across a difficult problem I can’t solve on my own. I believe that it is very easy for me to talk to people, ask questions, or simply just asking for help. Another one of my highest scores was on “Mastering Self-Management”. I was surprised when I got the score I did for this because I can control my actions and thoughts but I usually don’t because my emotions get in the way. My mind sometimes wanders or procrastinate.
This makes a lot f sense to me. I have spent most of my life depending on myself, It is very hard for me t ask for help. The second lowest assessment score for me was #5 Gaining Self Awareness. I tend to disagree with this score. I know I need improvement in this area, but I feel I am quite self aware. In the past I do not think I was very self aware, I did not realize why I would react to situations and people the way I did, but now Im more aware of those things. The third assessment I scored lowest in was #6 Adopting A Life Long Learning. I also tend to disagree with this one a bit as well. I am always learning, always wanting to learn about
In comparing my behavior and my cognition, I noticed that I had small difference with regards to my study habits as I had two ineffective cognitions and one ineffective and one effective behavior. I think the difference exists due to several factors that influence my cognitive process. The first is that I was in a severe car accident many years and I have trouble remembering through rote reading and memorization. This has caused me to become frustrated and self-critical, believing I cannot learn like other people. I have also found through this exercise that I have tied my self-worth to my grades. I will need to accomplish several tasks to make them more congruent in a positive way. I will need to find a more effective way to study, which will account for my impairment. The second task will be to develop a more set of positive cognitions. In order to accomplish this I will need to find my learning style, which I now believe is a combination of aural and social. The second task will involve challenging my perceptions and cognitions. I will accomplish this through making an honest self-assessment with the help of my mentor. My plan also includes making use of audio recordings
On the motivational quiz, my score was a 44/60. A 44 says “You get things done, and you don't let anything stand in your way. You make a conscious effort to stay self-motivated, and you spend significant time and effort on setting goals and acting to achieve those goals. You attract and inspire others with your success. Treasure this – and be aware that not everyone is as self-motivated as you are” (Mind Tools- Self Motivation Quiz). Even though I come out to be a pretty self motivated person, there are some areas I need to work on. Self Confidence I received a score of a 17/20. I can improve this score by setting easier, smaller goals, that I can achieve. In positive thinking, I received a score of 12/20. I never thought of myself as a positive thinker. To improve this score, I can start to think I can do anything I set my mind to. Not giving up so easily can highly influence my positive thinking. In focus and strong goals, I received a score of 6/10. Some goals I have set for myself re more difficult than others. I need to make the goals I set clear and interesting to achieve. Motivating environment, I received a score of 9/10. To improve this area, I need to surround myself in positive people. Positive people will help push me to do my
Conscientiousness measures the degree to which people are careful, organized, task-oriented, reliable, disciplined. My percentile for conscientiousness, 92, came to be as high as I anticipated it would be. Ever since the first grade, I remember myself being highly organized and a reliable student/daughter/friend. Accomplishing the tasks and meeting the deadlines were always prioritized over everything else since I could not simply put my mind to rest knowing that I have not completed what I was asked, or told to do.
The description giving on, Openness to Experience, when a person shows appreciation for art, emotion, an unusual ideas, imagination, curiosity, and a variety of experience. Jesus Christ, in his teaching, was someone who would demonstrate his feelings and shows truthful emotion. His examples were so real and it said that he never showed feelings of negativity and it is hard to believe he had unhappy emotional toward others. He was a very compassionate person and his feeling and emotional were real always and nothing kept him from doing what God wanted him to do in the earth and for the people.
My low score tends to be disorganized; I will try to enhance this character of my personality. First of all, I will write down my thoughts; for example, I will endeavor to analyze when and why things went right and wrong. I will write to improve my communication and thinking skills to be a better leader by writing down I can help myself to sharpness my thinking, clear my mind, devastate negative self- talk and pay more attention to my most predominant emotions through the day. Anything and everything I need to remember should be written down. Furthermore, I will set reminders on my phone with a set time. The night before a test, I will make a reminder to study. In addition, I will remove the things that I do not need instead of bargain shopping without planning ahead, I will write down exactly what I need and buy only those items. I will not give in to false advertising because items on sale will only produce more clutter. Furthermore, I will use different colors to help me organize my
After doing this self-assessment my highest scores were Employing independence and master self-management. I did not have any scores that were higher than a 64 so I did not have an area where my choices will usually keep me on course. I can understand how I got the interdependence score when I am in trouble I there is always someone around who can help me. I would not necessarily agree with the self-management. I am organized and planning all the time for what I have to do next, but it is not necessarily going toward my goals and dreams it is just how I learned to do things. None of these high scores really surprised me I know that I am organized and I also know that when I need help and I do not like to do things alone.
