My experience on Group Processes - 2016 NSW Global Scope Team 12
As I completed the UNSW Professional Development Program , I was invited to apply for a pilot project called ‘NSW Global Scope’ offered by StudyNSW NSW Department of Premier & Cabinet and Sydney-based education services and technology start-up, Intersective during Semester 1 2016.
This program has offered Work Integrated Learning experience to almost 200 university students (selected through the application) across the NSW public sector . The objective of the program was to help students to enhance their business capabilities, develop real-world professional skills and expand their individual professional networks while developing options analysis to address current business

All the team had different clients from NSW government agencies (again, randomly matched with a team) and my team worked with the Office of State Revenue.
My team members (“Team 12” hereafter) consisted of two undergraduates (Design and Commerce) and three postgraduates (Financial Analysis, Food Science and Technology, Civil Engineering). We had two mentors – an Operations Manager from NSW State Debt Recovery to connect between Team 12 and the client, as well as an IT Advisory Manager from Ernst & Young to guide on a project charter (not working for that, though).
In terms of the project brief, Team 12 was asked to review how a dashboard in the Collection Centre (within NSW Office of State Revenue) is currently being used and identify if this could be done more user friendly. More specifically, we were asked to present options for ease of use of the current dashboard, market alternatives and streamlined reporting builds including the costs of any other recommended products and staffing

Practera) to approach the issue or communicate with business professionals, it could be easier to some (or the most) of the team members - which would similar to purpose of the DIPP1111 Task 2 Group Project; to evaluate leadership communication not business recommendations. However, it was more likely focused on project outcomes/recommendations that deals with real-world business projects, whilst students could gain valuable learning experience and improve their employability skills for their own
In an online class setting, it can be very challenging to work on a group project that requires the participation of every group member and completing the project on time. This group project was successful one each individual had because we used proper communication to assign tasks, roles, and deadline to complete the project.
In exploring the Australian Curriculum, it becomes apparent that this curriculum was developed to encompass a wide range of skills and abilities that will be needed to enable young Australians to become productive and successful members of society of the future. The influence of a range of different curriculum models and education theories has bought together a comprehensive overview of what the Australian education system will deliver and how this can be accomplished.
It is very important to meet the needs of 21st century learners in both academic settings and corporation learning centres. The main factor that influences the curriculum development is the Australian Government followed by factors including awareness of the diversity in terms of the target community socially, financially and psychologically.
During my time at Citizens Advice Direct, I learned how to provide confidential telephone advice and information to a wide range of individuals on a variety of matters. I learned how to deal with various enquiries every day from people needing advice on debt, benefits, employment and other issues. I also learned how to research, analyse, evaluate and effectively apply large amounts of legal materials to various scenarios. More importantly I learned how to effectively communicate large amounts of legal materials to individuals.
Three years ago, I was first introduced to the Student National Pharmaceutical Association. The mission of serving the underserved was something that resonated with me strongly as a lack of resources early on in life made the local pharmacist my family’s main point of access to medical care. For this reason, I gained a strong passion to serve the community through SNPhA. Early on, I sought out mentors within the organization. These mentors taught me a great deal about the organization, leadership, and growth. Recently, I got the opportunity to serve on the executive team as our chapters Historian. Working as a part of the executive team has given me insight into this amazing organization at the local level, while allowing me to hone my communication
My goals this semester for English 111 are to improve my organization skills, spelling, plurals and passives. I knows that it going to be a challenge for me to improve everything in very short time. I will have to do my best in every assignment and works harder than others students. Everything I do I put my best effort into it and I hope that my effort in this class will help me improve my writing skill. This is only a start to a harder classes and I know the efforts I put into the works will not makes me disappointed. By the end of this class I hope that I made at least a B (maybe A) and improve my organization skills, spelling, plurals and passives.
My most challenging concern is finding a place to implement my Capstone project. I thought about using my local library, but getting nurses to come maybe a problem. Right now I am on medical leave from my hospital, therefore I cannot get the hospital involve. My potential resources are my two friends that have experience in teaching. One friend is a nursing instructor and another friend once taught in a LPN nursing program. Most of my nursing jobs required me to talk to a large group of people during our interdisciplinary team meetings. I had to discuss patients’ cases with the interdisciplinary team. In my class, as a part of a teaching exercise, I want to talk about documented case studies regarding culture and have students talk about
In order to put together a group presentation based on Tuckmans stages of development and Belbins team roles, I was put into a group with two other members. We were given a scenario that we ran a small clothing shop in Middlesbrough and a new team member was going to be added.

There are only four teams, but you will handle all the expense for your first assignment. In a few days your team is going to make an executive assessment at one of my companies. Have the people make the reservations at a five star hotel, limo rental, and all meals at different restaurants. Insure on the first night that you throw a small get together with the executive board running my company. Cindy, you are my representative, so spare no expense and make yourself proud.
