The quiz results will allow the instructor to discern what students already know from previous learning experiences and what voids need to be filled. The constructed response portion of the quiz will provide evidence on what students have already learned. Due to the nature of the quiz, the instructor will be provided with qualitative data about each student’s knowledge.
