A. Flooring
1. PVC free maple planks was proposed in lieu of resilient sheet flooring (50% DD).
a. Users and the facility concerned with sealing conditions at seams.
b. RR will provide product information of PVC free sheet goods installed in B25.
c. BDC is to review information from RR and propose an alternate PVC free sheet product. All seams are to be welded.
2. Epoxy flooring in BSL-3
a. Smoother texture with slip-resistance is preferred.
b. BDC to research laboratory standards.

B. Wall Accent Paint
1. Users prefer cooler and softer colors.

C. Chairs

Final selection is to be coordinated with the facility standard. For 100% DD submittal, it was discussed to proceed with the following until the final selections.
i. Painted HM entry doors ii. Painted HM doors in BSL-2 and BSL-3 (except sliding doors) iii. Wood veneer doors in Office area.
f. RR is to provide the facility door standards.

E. Countertop
1. Pivot Interior is to provide the followings.
a. Corian countertop at sink locations. Users indicated this is acceptable (no concerns with staining).
b. Epoxy countertop at the staining sink (epoxy).
c. Chemsurf countertop at other work surfaces in BSL-2 and BSL-3.
i. The lab planner commented on 50% DD that epoxy or stainless steel countertop is recommended in BSL-3 area. It concur with NIH guidelines (epoxy countertop). ii. Users and the facility confirmed their preference on epoxy countertop in BSL-3 areas.

F. Window shades
1. The proposed mechoshade with 3% openness is acceptable.

Workstations in Open Office Area
1. JC indicated that lower height furniture system was previously discussed in the open office area. This is to open up the space for visibility.
a. No upper storage is preferred at (6) workstations at the center of the room.
b. Mobile under counter storage unit is desired at workstations without upper storage.
2. Preference to have lockers (2-tier) was discussed.
3. BDC is to propose (3) options.
a. Adjust length of workstations to have u/c storage units with the current configuration.
b. Provide 18 lockers in toilet vestibule.
c. Turn center workstations 90 degree to maximize the standing meeting space.

Lighting Fixtures

A. LED Lighting fixtures
1. RR agreed with LED lighting selections because it lasts longer.
2. Pendant lighting fixture
1. Users and the facility concern with collecting dust.
2. RR is to review pendant lighting fixtures with EVS.
Follow Up Items

A. Finish selections
1. MT proposed to provide a couple more color schemes and present them to the Public Health Lab staff (Lunch Presentation) after 100% DD submittal.
