Inclusion is being accepted instead of shund out all by yourself. The other day I had the chance to visit a couple classrooms at New Highland Elementary with students that may have needed a little bit more help in certain subjects than other students. I got to observe three different classes. One class was a special ed class that is for younger kids from grade kindergarten to second grade. Another class was for older students from fourth and fifth grade.I also got to observe the principle doing some special ed work. In these rooms I observed different things like how the adults and children act with each other and how the children act with each other. The first class I observed was a special ed class. This teacher has many different groups of students that she works with throughout the week. I observe her class at 9 in the morning. At this time she only has 3 students. One kindergartener and two first graders. I was only able to observe her with the little boy who was in first grade because the two girls were out sick. When observing her I noticed that her and the little boy had an amazing bond. When he got to rambunctious she was able to calmly talk him into calming himself down. There wasn’t much child and child interaction as he was the only one in the class that day. Some teacher to child interaction occurred during my visit. When working on subjects like english and math she helped him and walked through the assignment with him when he struggled a little. The teacher
