In summery, I will discuss Descartes six ontological proofs for the existence of God and provide my own analysis and opinion. In Descartes first criteria he claims that if he finds in himself the idea of God a supremely perfect being. I agree with the option of finding within yourself the idea of God, but I am concerned equating it with the notion that God is a supreme perfect being. Since finding God within yourself is a personal visceral understanding that is not based on fact or knowledge or rather it is beyond the mind.
