I’ve known Michael since second grade that’s 11 years a pretty long time to get to know someone. I remember the first day in Ms Holden’s class when I started talking to Michael next to the bookshelf’s on our second floor classroom and since that day we slowly moved up the height of this building and have remained amazing friends ever since. Our friendship really grew when I found out Michael had a house in long island, Southampton specifically. I had been going out there almost every weekend since I was born so this was the perfect situation for our friendship. Id always wanted to have some one to play ps2 with because my parents would never let me play and Michael had a variety of games that we still play till this day. As well we could share
Last basketball season I met Michael at a high school basketball game. I had seen him before since we both played in middle school. At the game we exchanged Snapchats and we became pretty goods friends. We never really hangout after that, but we still snapped at least every day.
My friend Ellijah is one of the most outgoing, animated and hard-working friends I have met. He is the same age as I am. We have been extremely close friends since 6th grade, when my transfer from Farmington Schools to Lakeville Schools happened. Our friendship started in Middle School gym class, and still continues today. One of the first things we learned about each other was, we both lived between two houses growing up, and had many brothers and sisters along with step-parents. Joining a new school was something scary to me and a hard to do. Especially becoming new to the city of Lakeville. Ellijah was there to hang out and help me whenever I needed it. We are still close friends today! We attend the same Church group at Hosanna, play on the same football team, and get food with Tommy, Bryce, and Jack on the weekends at Chipotle.
The first time that I saw Payton I was in 6th grade. He moved to Lake Mills from Appaltin. He was a funny person. He would always be able to make someone laugh when they were having a bad day. He went the rest of the way through grade school with me. Then he went to Lakeside for his freshman year. Then part way through his sophomore year he went to a different school. Now his landlord kicked him out of his house and they moved up to apaltin. I don’t get to talk to him very much anymore. I hope that some day he will move closer to me again.
We started off with just HIs and HELLOs, then we became pals, and now we are best friends, an unbreakable bond.
We’ve been friends since my freshmen year of high school. Since I have moved to many different places, you have been my longest friend. It all started when we sat all uncomfortable in the cafeteria in the beginning of the school year, it was around mid-August. You had your DC shirt with the long “bieber” hair when that was a trend. We sat inside with other people because it was really hot outside as the sun’s rays hit our skin feeling the sensation
Kennady Peters and I have been best friends ever since the age of two when we were in the same pre-school class. During our sophomore year of high school, we were inseparable. There were times where Kennady would stays for days at a time at my house. We would play video games, watch movies, or just talk and hang out.
I have known [Name Omitted] for ten years. We went to the same summer day camp when we were in elementary school and I connected with [Name Omitted] because we had similar interests. We spent hours at camp discussing and playing every sport from baseball to kickball. This is where our friendship began and it has continued through high school.
When I moved into greenbrier from Mulberry in the 2nd grade we did not know anybody there. That changed when we got there there was a kid on the sidewalk sitting there waiting so I go talk to him for the first time. His name was Christopher “Cash” Hayes. From me talking to him we started the best friendship I have ever had. About 3 years after we become friends he has to move to a different city and only see him on a RARE basis. That friendship taught me something that school cannot. Some of your best friendships will not last forever.
I met Josh on my first day of high school. I walked into my Intro to Graphic Design class and noticed a boy smiling at a nearby table. I thought he looked cute, so I sat with him. I don’t remember much more of that day, but I do remember him leaving an impression on me. Josh and I stayed friends for about a year and, even though we didn’t date, he seemed different from the other guys I had known. Josh had always been a great friend to those around him and never got caught up in the drama around him. We finally started the following summer and the rest was history!
Andrew and I’s friendship. First year we were not even friends; kind of hated each other. We had a mutual friend so we started to be around each other more, where we became friends. To now this day, we are best friends and are in golden days of life.
It also made things great that our families were all close friends so our playtime was extended to trips together or while the adults wanted to come over for dinner. Unfortunately Marco moved away with his family when we were just 6 years old. Michael and I continued to be best friends growing up into our pre-teen years; suddenly Michael’s family decided to move out of California, just as Marco and his family did years earlier. It was a sad time for me, but life went on and my neighborhood was still filled with young, wild, and free kids to play with. New friendships were created and new memories were made. Although, I never found another best friend to replace Michael or Marco, I continued to build friendships and enjoyed my time on Carondelet Street.
Even though we both have very similar ways of thinking we have different thoughts on how we actually decided to become friends. Both of us were about 8 years old, Michaela was most likely wearing her usual outfit of a plain colored shirt, a skort, and mismatched socks that went up to her knees while I was wearing something that matched more. It was 3rd grade at James Dukes Elementary in August. It was hot outside so the cool plastic chairs were nice as I sat down waiting for class to start. Michaela introduced herself and we started talking. She says that she was shy and quiet when we met but I remember she was not either of those things and told me we should be friends. I was the shy one so I just said ok, sure and just followed her around and eventually we were officially friends. Either way, this showed me how she was friendly and kind to me as I was nervous on my first day.
I remember the first remember the first time I met him. It started when I got to my new school I made a few friends, but still didn’t know him. Then there was one day when I was in after care. My brother was there and he said he was playing tag with someone so I decided to play as well. Then I met him His name was also Andrew, and he was in the grade under me. When I first saw him he was so energetic it was insane he was so full of energy. He seemed like a very nice person, but then we started playing teen titans go. So he took it too far and punched everyone in the stomach while screaming booyah. So I thought that it wasn’t going to work out. The next day we played with him again, and he was also rough. Then we eventually became really close friends over the long school year. It was really fun, but then since the elementary school only went up to fourth grade I went to the next school. So I had to survive fifth grade without him.
Usually when you meet a friend when you are little there is an unlikely chance you will be friends forever. Well not with me, I was 5 years old when I first met this boy named Nick. We met in our Kindergarten class and have been best friends ever since. He lived right down the street from me and walked to my house every day for the bus stop. We were together so much; people thought we were actually related. Throughout elementary school, middle school, and part of high school we were always together. As we grew up nothing really changed except for junior year of high school. Junior year I switched schools and I wasn’t able to see him all the time. Being that I did go to a different school, I was out of the loop of anything that happened.
A year went by. Maybe two. The two were inseparable. Spending every waking moment together. They got coffee, went shopping, did your average friend things. They truly were, the best of
