I was able to take a step back from behind the counter and put myself in the customer’s shoes. I walked in the front doors and followed the crowd of people, which led me straight to a giant mass of confusion. I noticed that nobody knew where to stand in line, nobody knew who was next to order, and nobody knew where to pick up their food. I then decided it was time to come up with a new process. I figured if I interview customers out on the floor, who have already received their food and ask how their experience went and would they change anything. With this strategy in mind, that’s exactly what I did, and the results were unanimous.
Jeff, who is a new customer, said, “I can’t believe it took me 15 minutes to get my food! And when I looked
Wasting money is a big problem, yet it is not the only one; wasting the catering associate’s time is another. Catering associates only have about two minutes to spend in a patient’s room. That may seem like plenty of time to get an order and move on to the next patient. However, by the time the caterer describes the menu, diet, and the Always Available Menu, by the time the patients decide what they want, it is time to for the catering associate to move on. There is very little time to search for a menu and describe the process of ordering. Therefore, this leads to confusion for patients.
I had been taking food from the pantry upstairs because I felt like they weren't evenly dispersed and that I wasn't really getting my fair share so I was eating at the wrong times which was not the right thing to do because I thought that if I threw the wrappers in the garbage I would get in trouble so I hid the. This was not the right thing to do because it is first of all not ck=lenly and second of all it makes the house mess. this just gets me in more trouble because not only am I leaving them there I am not confessing right away when I find them. this will change because will no longer eat upstairs, therefore, I would have no need to hid the wrappers anywhere, also, I have figured out that I will t get I trouble if I eat them I just get
The most irritating thing is to have to wait for the staff to bring you things that you need to enjoy your meal. During my last visit my waitress, Manni was the best I’ve ever had at Applebee’s. When the hostess sat us Manni was there to introduce herself and to get our drinks within 2 minutes. When I go out to eat my most favorite part is lemonade. My first question is always what kind of lemonade they have and the selections are normally wide and I choose a different every time. The pomegranate lemonade is to die for and a must have. After the drinks were ordered we were ready to order. Ordering was easy with having a waitress that is very familiar with the menu and able to give suggestions on the popular items, what’s her favorite and what’s her least favorite. After our food arrived she visited our table regularly making sure the food was tasting great and constantly refilling drinks. Her attentiveness was amazing and she deserved every bit of her tip. “MB and I enjoyed the friendly and relaxed manner of our server, Miguela. She was there when we needed her. She did not intrude,” said Marilyn.
The workers kept telling us to move up a spot to where we were almost out of sight. So after another person in line – BEHIND US would get their food we would back up. Finally after 1 hour on the dot I had
Service is important to Confirmation because it serves others and also God. The Holy Spirit inspires and helps us serve others. Service is a way to give back. It is a way to be grateful for what we have and help those who have less than us. Through service we are doing God’s work by helping others. For seventh and eighth grade year, I did many different acts of service including; works of mercy, church service, community service, and liturgical experience.
Our country is notable for countless aspects in its culture, one of the more prominent aspects being the American Diet. Though our diet is primarily a blend of foods from foreign cultures, there are distinct differences: portion sizes, excess empty calories, and overall nutritional value. To us, food outstrips the three main meals of the day – it is used to celebrate holidays, for comfort, and at many social gatherings. This is where the problem lies.
The way we used to service our customers was creating far too many mistakes and frustration. We intend to bring harmony back to our restaurants by allowing the customers to input their own orders into our new system. By placing the responsibility in the customer’s hands, our employees will be able to focus more on the preparation of the food. This will alleviate many of the errors currently being made which in turn will bring down the stress level within the work environment. We are preparing for there to be a learning curve and possibly some confusion. A training program is already being created. This program will allow our employees to ease into the new system without a huge transitional period.
Steve and his girlfriend Samantha went off to college in August. She went to Florida State, he went to Penn. So, she decides to fly to PA to visit him. He was really happy to see her so he decided to give her some oral action. He had done this numerous times before and he always enjoyed doing it...but for some reason, this time, she smelled really horrible, and she tasted even worse. He didn't want to offend her though because he hadn't seen her in months...so he put a Jolly Rancher in his mouth to cover it up, even though it didn't do much to help. In the course of eating her out, he accidentally pushed the candy inside of her... and stuck a finger in to grab it out. He took it out, and put it back into his mouth and bit it. Only...it wasn't
While i was heading to the Food shelf, i found myself getting excited to clean the food shelf. From what i remembered from last week, the place was chaotic. From the start of the service learnings, i would think to myself "i wanted to help the food shelf the best I can." and heading towards the class today. i remembers
It was around 7:00 PM on a Saturday night, it was that time of the year where it got dark earlier than usual. It was my whole family; both of my parents, my 3 younger brothers and I, on our way back home from Six Flags. We were all extremely tired since we had spent the whole day walking under the hot sun. As we made our way back home, I was scrolling through an app called Offer Up, it's an app where people buy and sell, and I had posted an exclusive pair of Air Jordan's earlier that day. Well, at that moment my phone makes the loud cash register sound it makes when you get a message.
After hours of cramming for final exam, I can’t take anymore and go to the fridge looking for that perfect treat to satisfy my midnight cravings. Nothing in sight is just quite right. I look in the pantry for that fulfilling food. Alas! Nothing is in the pantry but chips that are too salty. I sigh in frustration and decide to go to bed defeated. With my teeth having been brushed and my shower completed I sink into the bed regretting the late night I took. I wake up on a pile of snow, confused, looking for someone to tell me where I am. Not a soul insight. It feels as if I have been wandering for hours until I come to a dirt road. But why is there a dirt road where the snow is several feet deep? It’s not dirt. It is cookie crumbs. And the snow
house where several other families turn up. In total, there were six or seven kids my age. The parents were inside the house talking and eating food, while the kids played outside amongst each other. None of the kids are truly relevant to the story, therefore their personalities don't need much explanation. The layout of the outside was sloped down toward Lake Murray and had grass and rocks all around.
Wow! As hot as it is, our cross country team prepares to participate in a plank competition. Doing planks is like doing push-ups, but without going up or down. People seem ready to start, sweaty from the work-out, and look ready to do hardcore. The sun beams and shines through the trees, as the wind breezes by. Many girls remain ready in plank position as the coach gets ready to set the timer. Before the timer starts, she says, “We can all do at least 45 seconds’’. Finally, she says, “One..two..three..Up!’’. In the beginning, I feel calm and continent, as my thoughts drift back to the competition. While the seconds turn into minutes, girls gradually drop to the ground like shooting rockets. Minutes pass away, and I start to shake a bit. Little
smile, give eye contact, make sure everything was in the customer’s bag, make sure they received the proper change (if any) and make sure I gave them a receipt. Most of the time, the atmosphere was relaxed but could become busy during special promotion times. I enjoyed my time at the restaurant chain because management was always available and the employees were pleasant.
For as long as I can remember, I've had this thing with ice cream trucks. Although I had often heard the music, when I would look around, nothing was in sight. The ice cream truck never seemed to turn on my street; it always felt like a faraway dream.
