Hi Everyone, I hope you are as excited as I am about taking this last class of the program. I am enrolled as Robert France but friends and family have always called me “Jeff” (from my middle name). I live in Columbus, Ohio and have been an RN for 27 years. I finally decided to go back to school a couple of years ago to earn my BSN so that I could better serve my patients. I currently do not have plans to study for an advanced degree, but since I work at the OSU Medical Center, that may be an option in the future. In my spare time, I spend as much time as I can outside to disconnect from daily stressors. We have a large suburban lot and landscaping and planting give me a creative outlet. My landscaping plan typically includes plants
On August 2015, I started the RN-BSN program with the Transition to Professional Nursing as my first course. I took one class at the time because I was working as a full time nurse at the same time. I did not take a break and started a new class each start date because I wanted to complete this program as soon as possible. The journey has been a long, hard road and the stress was constant and many times I felt that I could not complete it; it has been a difficult but very satisfying journey.
The sun was glistening through the tall, swaying pines. To the right of the trail, a gentle river flowed softly down towards the mouth of the lake. Walking across the rickety wooden bridge, I inhaled a deep breath of refreshingly crisp mountain air. The sun beat down on me as I made my way across the bridge and back onto the well-used hiking trail. The ambient sounds of chirping birds, babbling water, and the croaks of several frogs filled my ears as I made my way around the bend. As I entered the mouth of the forest, I could see my father standing in the middle of the path, glancing upwards, taking in the beauty that had began to engulf us. “We better get going.” he said, looking back at me. “There’s still many miles to go.” I smiled and turned, taking in one last view of the beautiful creekside. Then, with determination, we set out to finish the challenging trek we had started.
Deciding to go back to school is one of the best decisions I have ever made; however, with four children and full time employment, I initially wondered how I was going to accomplish it. It has not been easy, but I have enjoyed the ride. What I have learnt doing the RN-BSN program has enabled me to be a better nurse than I was (though I have always considered myself excellent in assessing, diagnosing, intervening and evaluating my patients). I am ready and excited for the next stage in my career, being an Advanced Practice Nurse.
I hate gardening. I hate my clumsy fingers yanking out gentle roots or my waddling feet stepping on the precious flower petals. Gardening is not my cup of tea, but my mom loves it. She is always out in the sunshine, stroking on her roses, her chrysanthemums, and her grandeur section of herbs.
As I start my first semester as an official registered nurse on the road to earning my bachelor degree. I can’t help but think of the challenges I will have to overcome along the way. Many RN’s may have fears of returning back to school after a long break, that is not the case for me. I earned my associate’s degree in May 2016. So returning back to school is as if I didn’t leave. Except this time it will be more time consuming and I will have to learn how to balance each role I play a little more strategically.
I am aware that this is not an easy program. I know that it will a lot of take hard work, determination, and a passion for what I am studying. I am prepared to take on the challenge. I will come to school eager learn and ready to work hard. I am prepared to manage my time, and put nursing school as my top priority. I am ready to be your student, and I know I will be successful if accepted into the BSN
I am currently a second semester nursing student at The Valley Foundation School of Nursing at San Jose State University. I will be begin my clinical training at El Camino Hospital this upcoming spring semester.
I certainly look forward to completing the RN to BSN program on schedule. As an experienced and competent RN of 12 years, my management has given me an opportunity to serve as an intermittent Charge Nurse and a Preceptor on a 24-bed surgical unit. I serve as a Charge RN to my colleagues as well as a preceptor to new hires with BSN degree. I have a good rapport and a good working relationships with my
Tell people who don't like gardening but want a garden how to plant a low maintenance one.To where they dont have to take care of it at all.
With that said, weaknesses are thought about and diminished in all organization, but yet they still exist.
I am a RN-BSN graduate from Anna-Maria College. In April 2015, I was inducted into the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International and Iota Phi Chapter. I have been an Oncology RN for the last eight years and enjoyed it because of the opportunity to work as a staff member, relief Charge Nurse, participate in the Epic and Retention and Recruitment committees. I actively care for our patients who need hematologic and chemotherapy treatments. At UCI Medical Center, I had the privilege to work with an organization that is Magnet certified and reflects the importance of excellent customer service to the population it serves. Previously, I had the opportunity to work as a Travel nurse and explored different work environment throughout
This December, I am graduating from Union University’s Master of Science in Nursing program on the Family Nurse Practitioner track. I am very excited for this new leadership opportunity in a field that I am so passionate about.
My name is Jonathan Greer; I’m currently attending Daytona State College to receive my associates as a Registered Nurse. Although it has been an amazing run I’m ready to wrap this semester up, so I can apply for the Nursing Program. As you can probably tell I’ am very anxious to start my career.
With the help of my mother and father, I constructed a raised-bed vegetable garden, which we completed the third week of October. We placed it next to our house so that the garden would be hit with plenty of sunlight. We used four pieces of plywood and nailed them to make a rectangular shaped container, the box was four feet wide, eight feet long, and a little less than twenty inches tall. We filled the box with ten inches of soil and later planted our vegetables we bought at Home Depot. We bought leeks, Chinese cabbage, Cauliflower, Savoy cabbage, and Mustard greens. I decided to start a garden because I’ve always had an interest in food and where it comes from.
I acquired some local fruit, papaya pineapple banana. They got all year-round planting season. Soon I am coming to a place of vegetation. I thought I would treat myself what this place has to offer. But it wasn’t that special, sadly they will present a spreadsheet like it was in the Sun for a long time.
