I am still working with Microsoft Office 2013, I like this version of office. I work with Word and Excel daily at work. I have basic knowledge of PowerPoint. I have worked in other versions of Microsoft Office in the past. I find myself going back to Microsoft Office 2013. My job had a training course for all employees in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
My plans for file management is to create folders to organize my class documents on my computer. I also have two notebooks for notes I need to write down. I am going to continue processing my files and taking notes as I did when I successfully completed my associates degree.
I have had work experience in customer service jobs giving me skills, and the ability to work with different types of people in many situations. I pay close attention to detail and I am a very hard worker. I am friendly, punctual, and eager to learn new skills about early childhood development. I work well with others and have many ideas to improve the company. I am currently studying elementary education at Sierra College, and have taken courses pertaining to child and human development. I am also currently looking to obtain a CPR and first aid training certificate.
I have worked in various social care settings for over 5 years from which I gained a broad knowledge in providing professional support to service users to enable and promote independent living and fulfilment. I am a conscientious worker and a credible team player with high degree of flexibility towards performance of my work. Last Sunday at church Father Ron said something that hit home for me. He said that a mission begins with an invitation. I grew up in a rural area in the highlands of Nairobi, Kenya. Due to my advertising background and my multimedia degree, I am experienced with the use of Adobe Suite PC or Mac base and proficient in other equivalent software. It is necessary to be attentive to format requirements when producing a variety of advertising and marketing material. Examples of these has included graphic tutorials, PowerPoints to for GCSE work all supported by work sheets. Designed and built a variety of websites, sustaining their contents. Produce artwork for exhibition panels and literature to showcase departments. Take photographs and film of events to produce movies. Create a collection of material to be shown on the in-school TV’s to encourage enrichment activities.
What life experiences have motivated you to choose a career in the medical, health, or life science fields? During my four years at Crispus Attucks High School I have gained experiences that has influenced me to choose a career in the Business field. Not only have I gained experiences at Crispus Attucks but I have also gained experiences outside of school with the opportunities they have provided me with. The Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science has been called the most diverse square mile in Mississippi. Before coming to MSMS I had never seen other children my age who were Asian, Indian, or any other race except for Caucasian and Mexican. I didn't have a chance to talk to other children about their cultures or beliefs until I came to MSMS. Being at MSMS gives me the opportunity to speak to one of the most diverse student bodies in Mississippi. I am able to listen to the different languages spoken by the children here such as Vietnamese, Korean, Hindi, and Spanish. Personal Statement I’ve always kept an eye on social tensions around the world and although at a younger age I didn’t always fully understand the social injustices that were going and as I began to grow in age, my knowledge and understanding of what was going on around me not only in my community but also around the world also grew. I am a hard-working person,I'm friendly, kind, and can cope with social issues whatever the situation. I'm a team player but can also work independently and lead a team. Once I started working as a graduate assistant athletic trainer I have found myself looking for, and relishing in, any opportunity to teach others about injuries, how to prevent them, and how to rehab after them. Now that I am looking to grow from a graduate assistant position to a full time position having my teaching certification will 1) give me more opportunities to teach others, 2) help me to grow as a professional, and 3) help me to be employed at the middle school and/or high school levels. I will take effective notes when needed. I will designate a certain spot in my apartment to be my school work place. After a long pause that Microsoft took in 2011, it seems that it was all planned to make 2012 really happening when it comes to Microsoft’s Product launch. From the very beginning of this year, Microsoft has been able to catch huge limelight, first for Windows 8 consumer preview, followed by the release of Microsoft Office 2013’s customer preview. The new version that Microsoft would soon release this year, has an edge on all the existing versions that were ever released.
