Many individuals fail to understand the sheer magnitude of bloodshed, tribulation, and despair legalized abortion has initiated into the human experience – both in the United States and worldwide. So, pro-lifers say every child has the right to live right? But what if an un financially stable mother is forced to keep the baby? Then the baby would struggle along with the mother. The child will not get their everyday needs and can possibly end up dying. Is this what pro-lifers want? All I'm going to say is there is a difference between pro-choice and pro-abortion. Pro choice is understanding that you have no control over what another woman does with her body. Pro choice is understanding that people make their own decisions based on their life. Pro choice is not necessarily approving of abortion, it's allowing people to make decisions, which is why it's called pro CHOICE. If you are pro-life, you are saying an unborn fetus is equivalent in value as a born child. If a fire was destroying a building which an unborn fetus and a living baby we're trapped inside, and you could only save one, which one would you choose? For many years this issue of abortion has came out, giving a huge debate about it. Right now, in the United States abortion is legal but may be restricted by the states. The states have limited degree of power. Some of the laws passed by some states are the requirement of parental notification for minors, the term of pregnancy, the abortion risk information given to the patients for the procedure, etc. Abortion is becoming more pro choice. I wanted to research abortion because I didn’t really know anything about it when we had debates in class.

Many women have the intention of having children but sometimes their economic status or even themselves just aren’t ready to bear the burden of a child. If every mother who wanted to get an abortion put their child in foster care then there would never be enough room or families to take care of the children, our government would have to spend mass amounts of money to keep all of these kids

Pro-choice people are for abortions. They believe it’s the mothers right to choose what she wants to do and what she wants done with her body. We live in a country where we are guaranteed the right to freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of expression and many more freedoms that allow citizens do make decisions regarding their own well being. However, if the birth of a child were to take away life itself from the mother, then not only would it cause extreme amounts of grief to the family and put them in a dilemma as to whether be happy or sad about the situation, but the infant would also lose the love and nurture that every child is entitled to receive from their mother.

Listen to the pregnant woman, and you cannot help but defend her right to abortion.” So what is the correct answer? Life or choice? Yes, they believe abortion is ripping away someone’s life that they don’t even get a chance to live. Pro-life activists have a moral agenda against the abortion of unborn fetuses, calling it murder. Their views are usually fueled by religious reasons and convictions rooted in Christian beliefs. While the general Christian stance is to be against abortion. However the issue is not as strongly rooted in religion, but rather in a concern for mothers, and their possible future children. The large gray area makes the issue of abortion very tough to resolve.
