Our main objective was to understand the Salt Lake City consumers better and learn how we can develop our features and interface in order to fit the Salt Lake City area most effectively. The main problems we came across were consumers were confused on the idea, concerns about having an Amazon account, and people wanted local produce. As we looked at our research data from [Appendix 1] we learned about the main concerns from both two male interviewees and female interweiees. Ranking from 1-10 we able to identify that women's main concerns were health issues and male issues were primary time concerns. To solve these issues we begin with “Blue Sky” solutions, the first being everyone has a chance to create an Amazon account in store through …show more content…
With all of these different solutions we were able to decide on our final solution addresses all of our concerns within the store that customers may have had about; technology, interaction, and pricing. These three main concerns were what we narrowed down to create the final solution. We decided that:
“Amazon Go should have employees in store to greet and help customers adapt to the "Just Walk Out" technology; a transparent kitchen where customers can interact with the chefs preparing the food; offer only the top brands in each category; and finally, source fresh locally produced foods to show that Amazon wants to contribute to the local economy.” Our final solution address all concerns and problems that consumers have about Amazon Go, with correct implication we firmly believe that Salt Lake City would be a perfect location for the opening of one of the new 200 Amazon Go stores coming in 2018.
7. Limitations & Weaknesses Briefly indicate key uncertainties about your conclusions and your concept/solution. Identify what additional research would be valuable, if any.
There were few things that we were not expecting as the target group we interviewed were those in the age range of 18-24, all of whom had Amazon accounts and were familiar with the Amazon Go beta store. However, there were a few weaknesses that came to surface after conducting research. First off, consumers

➢ Mission: Amazon’s mission is to be Earth’s most customer-centric company, where customers can find and discover anything they might want to buy online, and endeavors to offer its customers the lowest possible price[1].
Amazon has earned a great reputation in customer service for allowing customers to shop without face to face, avoiding talking to a customer’s service representative agent on the phone, everything it done online. Sales clerk does not exist, everything is ordered with a click of the mouse, and arrives extremenely quick in the mail (Cohen, 2009). Amazon at interval has gotten involved with the customers when they can have too. According to Green, H. (2009), “Amazon stands out most markedly from other companies, and helps explain how the company earned the No. 1 spot on Business Week’s customer service ranking this year”( para. 1).
These offerings are, in part, a way to offer a tangible lure the uninitiated customers by allowing them to interact with Amazon’s technical platforms, such as what is done in Apple store. Moreover, Amazon is exploring the use of Amazon Go stores. The Amazon Go stores are a kind of convince store concept that will allow a shopper to swipe a code on his or her mobile phone at the entryway turnstile, and then simply pick up and take whatever item they wish from the store, those items being automatically added to their digital cart and immediately paid for when they leave the store. (Robischon, 2017) These types of brick-and-mortar store fronts are very different than what is offered by Walmart and are ways for Amazon to establish a physical approach of retail to best satisfy the customer. This innovative focus should play dividends down the road as instead of simply opening one type of store across the United States, such as what other physical retailers are currently doing, Amazon is seeking to break the proverbial retail ceiling and transform how consumers shop. It may take some time for Amazon to catch Walmart as the global retailer; however, through innovation and making the shopping experience easier, quicker, and more enjoyable, Amazon will most certainly overtake

Amazon.com is a customer centric company. They put more effort in improving their system to make the experience of customer more comfortable so that he keeps on returning to the website. Jeffery Bezos who is the founder of the Amazon.com started this company after seeing the use of internet increasing rapidly.
There are far more effects than what might meet the consumer’s eye as local businesses close their doors. For example, when the doors close on a department store, that leaves anywhere from one hundred to two hundred employees without a job. With 8,600 stores closing this year alone, that is upwards of 860,000 people unemployed. Those people have to go out and search for another job in a world that cannot meet that demand. Employment opportunities are shrinking in numbers because of the global online retailers. People have been led to believe that Amazon and other online retailers are creating a significant number of jobs that make up for closing businesses. That is far from the truth. Leon Kaye (2017) said, “It was estimated that Amazon employed over 145,000 people at the end of 2015. But, on the other hand approximately 295,000 jobs that have been lost at brick-and-mortar stores.
Amazon, a powerful company, has challenged many of its competitors and nearly causing them to go bankrupt. Jeff Bezos has taken amazon through changes and seemingly all for the better.

The objective of this case study is to outline and provide a brief overview of Amazon.com’s (Amazon) mission, strategic direction, core competencies, relied technologies and their future impact of new technologies, and how management and use of consumer data will impact future business.
The weakness of amazon is that it hasn 't mastered mobile. In terms of speed companies like Google overpower them as their Amazon Fire phone is too slow compared to Google Nexus 6P. Amazon hasn’t done much to make its mobile experience different from its desktop experience. It basically just put its website into an app on the phone. Meanwhile other companies are trying to make a more complex but easy way to use and operate the phone.
Furthermore, they offer to the customer the experience to buy in a physical store, compared with Amazon that is one of the strongest competitor, there’s no doubt that the internet, and the mobile web in particular, have changed the way people shop, but there is strong evidence that consumers continue to value the experience of
You may be willing to wait for Amazon to load because you know exactly what you’re waiting for, but if you’re a user in the discovery phase of a new venture; chances are you won’t give them the time of day. The more time they wait, the greater the likelihood they will leave or even if they do stick around, the first impression is going to tarnish your potential.
