Chick-Fil-A
Chick-Fil-A is a fast food restaurant that I love it got wide variety of foods including breakfast in the mornings, grilled chicken, and more healthier options. The drinks always have free refills It also is very child friendly has most restaurants where they even have a play land for the kids and have kids meals. The restaurant is always clean inside and the wait for all foods are less than 15-20 minutes. The employees look very clean they always have ironed clothes and is always wearing their full uniform. When I went to order I ordered a regular chicken sandwich meal with fries and a milk shake. The person who take my ordered smiled and was very polite, I have had always good service at Chick-Fil-A. When I got my food
Today’s society focuses more than ever on living a healthier lifestyle. What better way to satisfy the consumers need for a juicy beef burger than creating the healthy alternative with a chicken burger. 100% ground chicken breast accompanied with a whole wheat bun is just what the consumer needs! The idea of the chicken burger could have endless options. For example, the All American Chicken Burger features American cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion or the Cajun Chicken Burger features Blackened Chicken Burger, Swiss, Lettuce, Tomato and Onion.
A good leader is one that motivates others to do well, not because they have to but because they want to. A great leader knows and understands their vision and is unwilling to compromise their values or morals to achieve success. Not all influential leaders are publicly known for their accolades. It is not until something negative or perceived as negative is brought to the public’s attention that these leaders are judged; such is the case of Truett Cathy, the founder of Chick-fil-a. Standing firm on this beliefs in God and Christian principles he turned a small diner into the multi-billion dollar company, Chick-fil-a that generates more profit in 6 days, than its competitors in 7 days (Williamson, 2014,
For this research project the restaurant that I decided to go with was Chick-fil-A, the company is best known for specializing in chicken sandwiches and the invention. I not only made the decision to use this restaurant because of its popularity, but also because I find the dynamic of it as a whole to be pretty fascinating. The company's culture is influenced by its founder's Southern Baptist beliefs, which is why all Chick-fil-A restaurants are closed for business on Sunday. Religion and business are two elements that generally aren’t supposed to go together especially when people can be so iffy about the topic, so to me it’s really cool to see an establishment that was not only able to implement that on a large scale, but also be able to
There are numerous simple schedules that take place when performing the operant of fulfilling an order for a guest as a Chick-fil-A employee. Once the guest has entered the store (discriminative stimulus, SD), the employee taking the order must signal to the guest (operant, R) that they are available and ready to take their order (variable interval, VI-5sec). The guest recognizes the signal (SD and secondary reinforcer, SR+) and proceeds to walk towards the direction of the signal (VI-5sec). Once the guest has arrived at the designated area (SD/SR+), the employee then greets the guest by saying, “Hello, are you dining in with us today?” (fixed ratio, FR-1). The guest responds with, “yes, we will be dining in” (SD/SR+). The employee presses, “dine in” on the point of sales (POS) monitor (FR-1) and asks the guest, “What would you like to order?” (FR-1). The guest then begins telling the employee what they would like to eat (SD/SR+). As the guest is talking, the employee begins ringing up the specific
I was born and raised in San Antonio along with my two older brothers. Both my parents worked hard to put my brothers and I through elementary and middle school at St. Luke Catholic and high school at Central Catholic. Currently, my brothers are both college graduates and work in the San Antonio Fire Department, while I am enrolled in my last year at St. Mary’s University.
Chick-fil-a first opened its doors in 1946 in the state of Georgia. Founded by the owner Pruett Cathy, he later, in the early 1960s, incorporated Chick-fil-a. Since then, chick-fil-a has grown massively all over the United States making them the largest quick-service chicken restaurant in the United States. Chick-fil-A began as a restaurant named the Dwarf House but has grown to over 1,700 locations.
Chick-Fil-A is not cheap, but for the higher prices you are getting an experience. The prices don’t stop customers from pouring in their doors and leaving with a smile. Also, Chick-Fil-A knows their niche.
Keeping prices competitive with their competition as well as offering varying price ranges for their customers help Chick-fil-A have a strong hold on the market share. They are offering quality food that are good tasting while being good for them, offering healthy alternatives for children's meals, and only using chicken that raised humanly without additives. Finally, one of the biggest objectives that Chick-fil-A is trying to work on the ability to stay true to their religious beliefs and views without insulting various groups as a way to improve their public
I recently have been consuming the delicious products of the Chick-Fil-A in Sunset Hills Plaza.
The ethical company that I chose was Chick Fil A. Chick-Fil-A Headquarters 5200 Buffington Rd. Atlanta, GA 30349.
My trip to Chick-Fil-A had an abundance of strengths from the trip. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how clean it was. The table we sat at was spotless. There were no traces of anyone that sat there prior to us which was a good sign. At most “fast food restaurants” you collect the food when it is ready and then sit. Chick-Fil-A was not like most though, they had their employees bring the food to your table when it was ready. After both my friend and I thanked her, she said the same line as before with “my pleasure”. After digging into my food it tasted too good for it to be from a “fast food” restaurant. The chicken was all natural which was a bonus because many other chains’ food is processed. In addition,
This case study deals with Chick-fil-A, a family owned company. The purpose of the business is to “glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted” (Chick-fil-A (b), nd) to them. The firm runs its business following Biblical principles and a kind of “Christian model”. So for example, the company’s restaurants are closed on Sunday (Chick-fil-A (a), nd).
Chick-fil-A is affected by numerous external forces which challenge upper management’s ability to make Chick-fil-A “America’s best quick-service restaurant”. Through intense strategic planning, based upon the vision, mission and corporate values, Chick-fil-A has been able to establish a unique position in a very competitive industry. The corporate purpose of Chick-fil-A, “To glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us and to have a positive influence on all who come into contact witch Chick-fil-A”, their commitment to family and the community, and their sound business decisions, have made Chick-fil-A one of the most profitable and fastest growing quick-service restaurants
Ben & Jerry’s began its journey in 1978 in the United States. Two men passionate of everything dairy, created an ice cream that revolutionized the world of cold treats. At first, they only offered their product in Burlington, Vermont in forms of ice cream cones. The demand for this delicious treat increased thus leading to the Ben & Jerry’s ice cream pints. They began to expand to a point where stocks could be bought and pints could be found anywhere in the States. The company came out with unique and different flavours that enticed consumers to buy in greater quantities. After almost twenty years in business, their product finally made it across the ocean to the United Kingdom. This was the beginning of a world-wide company. Ben & Jerry’s
The first drive-though hamburger stand opened in 1948 in California, and was known for its fresh ingredients, and the 100% beef patties was the In-N-Out. Undoubtedly, In-N-Out is one of the most popular and appealing fast-food, chain restaurants in the west coast, and considered as a must-eat food for visitors. Also, it is very recognizable by its big sign of a yellow arrow on a red In-N-Out background when people drive on the road. In-N-Out used to only have locations spread across California, but now they have locations across the states including Nevada, Arizona, Texas, and Utah.
