Scientists are individuals who analyze how the world is viewed and how it came to be. They perceive nature, physics, and social realms. They help flourish the world into something great, they create the future, and discover Earth's hidden secrets. There are many categories of science, each category has extensive scientific knowledge, and the use of the scientific method. Scientists have been changing the world since the beginning of history.
There’s a wide range of different types of scientists, from studying rocks to examining the earth's atmosphere. Each one of these scientists have certain names that have to deal with what they study. All scientists in every field uses the Scientific Method. The Scientific Method is a method of procedure that has defined natural science since the 17th century. The method consists of a series of multiple procedures, such as: ask questions, research, hypothesize, experiment your hypothesis, analyze your data, and draw a conclusion. (Science Buddies)

The development of the scientific method in the late 1500’s to the early 1600’s was a crucial stepping-stone in the science community. The scientific method is based upon observations, hypotheses and experimentation. The concept is rather simple, and can be applied to many areas of study. Once an observation is made, the observer can make a hypothesis as to why that phenomenon occurs and can then design an experiment to prove whether or not that hypotheses is valid. The Scientific Method is the approach that scientists use to investigate some phenomena. It’s a standard technique to find cause and effect of a particular problem.
The scientific method is a five step processes that is observation and research, hypothesis, prediction, experimentation, and conclusion. In the observation and research stage it is the first step to understanding a problem, this would require research. The hypothesis is having a possible answer to a problem or outcome. The prediction is the answer based on if the hypothesis is true or not and if it is true than an assumed prediction can be made. Finally when all the guess work is done it is time to experiment to find the answer. The experiment stage can answer the problem or answer an unattended problem. The conclusion is the answer that the conclusion gives but this doesn’t mean there is am solution for the problem ("Scientific Method," n.d.).
During the 1800s people around the globe began experiencing a different lifestyle and workforce. Before this time, people worked on farms in small villages without any form electricity to be able to provide for their families. All of this began to change when an agricultural revolution, lead by the Dutch, arose. From that point on invention after invention and discovery after discovery was brought into the evolving world. It was a rapid change that really never stopped. To this day, scientists build off the ideas that first commenced in the 19th century.
From the ancient Greeks to present day American scientists they have used the power of science to further the lives of all mankind. The Scientific Method is the standardized procedure that scientists are supposed to follow when conducting experiments, in order to try to construct a reliable, consistent, and non-arbitrary representation of our surroundings. To follow the Scientific Method is to stick very tightly to a order of experimentation. First, the scientist must observe the phenomenon of interest. Next, the scientist must propose a hypothesis, or idea in which the experiments will be based around. Then, through repeated experimentation, the hypothesis can either be proven false or become a theory. If the hypothesis is proven to be false, the scientist must reformulate his or her ideas and come up with another hypothesis, and the experimentation begins again. This

Alan Francis Chalmers is an associate professor who works extensive in the history and philosophy of science (physical). Alan Chalmers has taught at the University of Sydney since 1971, first in the School of Philosophy, and from 1987 at the Unit for the History and Philosophy of Science. He attained a B.Sc. in physics at the University of Bristol, and his M.Sc. in physics from the University of Manchester. His Ph.D. on the electromagnetic theory of J.C. Maxwell was granted by the University of London. He was elected a Fellow of the Academy of Humanities in 1997. He has been a Visiting Scholar at the Flinders Philosophy Department since 1999.
Science is an important part of our every day lives. We wake up each morning because we hear the ringing of our alarm clocks and turn on our faucets to wash our faces with warm water. We turn on the lights in our rooms to see our clothes and get dressed and we put our breakfast in the toaster and sip coffee from our mugs.
