INTRODUCTION: How many people have a Veteran in their family or know one? If yes do you help them or is it someone else’s problem. Well many people think it’s someone else problem, but the truth is it’s our problem.

Our military men and women are exposed to traumatic events that most will never experience, however, the treatments they receive are no different than most civilians. I would like to create a program that collects donations to benefit those with PTSD. These charitable giving’s would go directly to a local hospital, such as the Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) for research.

Veterans. Those people are the reason why we are living and free. Don’t you ever think about the wounded veterans that put their whole life on the line for you to be safe? For their sacrifices they deserve the best and we can help by donating to wounded warrior project. The wounded troops should have the help to overcome their physical and mental obstacles. Although at first glance General George S. Patton is anything but creative, if you think about it, he is one of the most creative people of all time. Both his battle strategies and speeches were creative, bold, and extremely powerful. Each of his speeches, particularly his speech to the Third Army, are some of the most powerful and motivated I have read. Each and every speech he spoke riled his troops and made them want to crush the Nazis and win the war. Since 2012, WWP Program Grants have held two annual grant cycles to support the increasing number of returning wounded veterans and their reintegration needs. Brett Miller is a U.S. Army veteran and founder of Warfighter Outfitters, Inc. His 2005 deployment to Iraq left him with a traumatic brain injury (TBI), saw a unique opportunity to help fellow injured service members through the camaraderie and bonding offered by two of his own interests: hunting and fishing (Newswire). Then there 's Staff Sergeant Erick Millette. During two tours in Iraq, Erick survived 17 IED attacks. They left him with the kinds of injuries that you can 't always see: head trauma, brain injury, PTSD. He spread the message that it 's okay to talk about these unseen wounds of war, to seek out help and to seek out support. However we also are shown bravery, companionship and acts of kindness as the soldiers struggle to stay humane and sane in a hellish environment.

What does it feel like to come home from years of fighting and have nothing but living on the streets. A lot of the wounded vets have to deal with that when they come home from war. The Wounded warrior project is to help wounded veterans coming home from war.They raise money for the procedures and surgeries the wounded vets overtake when they come home. With all of the staff and the volunteers they are able to help out hundreds of vets a day.

In this essay I will describe the many requirements and expectations set forth in the army's AR670-1. I will describe the importance of obedience to it and cite many of it's detailed descriptions. Every winter, I have fond memories of sitting around the Christmas tree, eagerly opening presents with my family, and walking downtown with my friends, with the brilliant lights in the trees and our footprints quickly being covered up again by the snow. Family and friends are the most precious things, especially around the holidays. The Salvation Army Laredo Texas Corps, is a place of humble means that has been ravished by the impact of poverty. However, in the midst such disparity, there lives and exist soldiers that are sold out for Christ and The Salvation Army. Recently, the soldiers passions have been reinvigorated to love, serve, and make Salvation their number one priority. The main focus of the corps has been to enhance and develop programs, in order to, allow soldiers passions to flourish; by expanding the Kingdom and the work of The Salvation Army here in Laredo.

This Project was very useful because our team was able to help our community as well as our citizen’s in the area. Bonita Springs Charter School is a great organization to be a part of, and BSCS has many volunteer opportunities throughout the year. The Harvest Fest is the biggest event for fundraising at the school, which allows parents, families, and staff as well as the Bonita Springs community, to be a part of this great event. In addition, BSCS is a well-known school just miles away from Florida Gulf Coast University, which is very convenient for students that live either at the FGCU campus or in the surrounding area.
