The benefit of me being in the Social Work field is my personal experience with similar struggles. I would like to be the person I never had while going through my hardships. The resurrection of my old wounds that I have overcome would certainly be my weakness. With that being said, I am confident I could make a difference because, I have been in their shoes to a certain extent, so I can help relate to and speak from experience with those I am trying to help. There are many resources available for the people such as shelters, food banks, job training, and placement assistance. All they need is the guidance from a knowledgeable social worker who is willing to offer a helping hand to open these doors of opportunity. Working with the Boys and
I wanted to enter the social work field to help others and to make an impact on people’s lives who may be struggling because of who I am. I am a person that has cerebral palsy and because of this I feel like I have greater life experience because of everything that I have endured growing up. If I can share my story of all the obstacles that I have overcome given the difficult disability that I have I hope it will inspire others to know that nothing is truly impossible. This life experience has allowed me to be able to help people better because it has made me more open minded, sensitive, strong, relatable, and understanding. These life experiences are what made me want to decide to go into the social work field because I want to help people just like I was helped and even more so.
I would ask questions about the social part of the job. I wouldn’t say that socializing is a strength of mine, but i still do better than most people. The reason is because when working in groups, I tend to have trouble unless I’m the leader. I'm not a control freak or anything. If anything, people usually say I’m a good leader. Most of the time, when I depend on other people, things never go my way. So now, when I work in a group, most of the time I'm either alone or I put together my own group. I would ask what kinds of skills are needed while I'm working at that location.
“As a process, empowerment actively engages people in decisions about their well being, potential life satisfaction, and the outcomes of realizing control over their lives to the extent possible” (Hepworth, Rooney, Rooney, & Strom-Gottfried, 2013, p.442). An empowerment framework examines the environmental circumstances that may be unjustly imposed on a client. The focus of this approach is to help individuals or groups of individuals regain a sense of control of their situation and make decisions on their own behalf. Social workers can assist clients in discovering their strengths and teaching the client that they do have the ability to make change. According to Dustin and Montgomery “Individuals should have a sense of control over their own lives (as cited in Ishizuka, & Husain, 2015, p. 971) and be able to exercise self determination and choice”.

-How feasible are the recommended solutions to address the major challenges social workers face when working with immigrant clients? (Jones)
Understanding these theories as a social worker can help with clients, such as families and children. For example, if a child is anxiously or avoidantly attached perhaps the child is being neglected. It can help to understand the dynamics of a family and what needs to be worked on in the home. However, these theories do not necessarily take events such as loss or cultural factors much into account. For example, perhaps the reason a child is anxiously attached because the previous caretaker or close family member recently passed. They may believe that their caretaker may never come back if they leave, since their previous one did and never came back.
The focus of intervention can be on Jean as she is the solution-focused component and the patient waiting for a discharge. The social worker can help her consider strength and interests, which were overlooked before to improve a quality of her life and reduce stress for her and her family.

In today’s digital world, many organizations are changing the way they develop, mold, and appoint their employees. Lifetime employment is an outdated promise. It may have been there for quite some time, but it’s not there for us. Lifetime employability is a new idea that most organizations try to adapt. To retain one of their assets most organizations use numerous tools for employees to develop their core competencies and skills. Development can take several different paths. Development can happen by taking on greater challenges or larger scope within current role, for example becoming more of a leadership expert. This is the key in our fast paced management driven industry. This paper briefly state the term employability, how to get lifetime employability with my current work, and understanding the key factors to become more effective in the organizations.
This argument gained a stronger backbone when interviews were conducted with people in different universities (IBA, IOBM, SZABIST, HABIB UNIVERSITY, KNS (ACCA Institute), Greenwich University) who have just started working in various organizations(both undergraduates and graduates) where they claimed that supervisors/employers do not prefer appointing them in higher posts if they do not have any work experience. 70% ended up claiming the above reported fact whereas the remaining 30% thought that work experience was a secondary concern for the organizations and did not matter much. Most of these young people worked as assistants to other employees or at a lower post compared to their counterparts who had some work experience.
