McRaney attained his tasks in purpose of this book into four sections; the first section, McRaney addresses the foundational elements of personal evangelism. In the second section explains communication theory that related with personal evangelism. And, the third section discusses practical application aids in personal evangelism. Last fourth section is provided five appendices to aid each reader to research. McRaney achieved to cover his purpose; the foundational elements, communication theories, and practical aids of personal evangelism. Also, appendixes are helpful to practice to personal testimonies, gospel illustrations, common objections, and more practical evangelism. (p. 235) In his first chapter, McRaney emphasize the involvement of the Holy Spirit in the conversion of sinners into saints (p. 27), and the all part of evangelism; in the life of His witnesses, and lost people, regeneration and conversion. The Holy Spirit helps the witness and the lost person’s understanding. When Christian who within the heart of God, desire to see all persons come into recovered relationship in faith to sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the Evangelism begins. All that is in God’s control. In summary, McRaney noted that the witness “should prayerfully and persistently pursue the presence of lost people, then proclaim and persuade at the prompting and in the power of the Holy Spirit” (p. 73).
