According to the Marriam-Webster Dicionary, climate is the usual weather conditions in a particular place or region. Climate includes patterns of temperature, precipitation (rain or snow), humidity, wind and seasons. The effect of Global warming is causing damage in many parts of United States. In 2002, Colorado, Arizona and Oregon endured their worst wild fire season ever. (S. 2007).
Rising levels of carbon dioxide and other heat-trapping gases in the atmosphere have warmed the Earth and are causing major impacts. The rise in sea levels; melting snow and ice; more extreme heat events, fires and drought; and more extreme storms, rainfall and floods signify the where our world in going to without interruption.. Scientists predict that these extreme weather events will continue and in some cases accelerate, which poses significant risks to human health.
