Global warming which also can be called climate change is the rise in the average temperature of the earth climate system and its connected effects. In the past century, the force and activities of humans have disrupted the natural cycle of climate change that lawmakers, scientist, and environmentalist are working hard to reverse.

Anthropogenic climate change is defined as the human impression on Earth's climate while natural climate changes are the natural climate cycles that have been occurring since the beginning of time (Hanania, Pomerantz, & Donev, 2017).
In the past Earth’s climate has changed depending on the amount of incoming and outgoing energy. The significant factors that contribute to the Earth’s natural climate change can be determined by the Earth's path around the sun, the output of energy from our sun, the ocean’s normal cooling and warming cycles and the continual unpredictability in volcanic activity. An example of natural climate change would be El Nino which relied on the natural winds and ocean currents.

Climate change conspirators/deniers is a problem to today’s population. Climate change is defined as any irregularities in earth’s weather (NASA, 2017). Individuals who deny the scientific facts that are climate change is an interesting subset of the population. Climate change conspiracy theories typically challenge the scientific proof and ultimately claim that climate change is a hoax. The reasons these individuals give vary. For one, a major claim is that climate change is natural and not a result of human behaviour/consumption patterns. Another main argument is that the science is not reliable. Despite both, and hundreds of other arguments against climate change being proven wrong, these deniers continue to believe that climate change does not exist. The primary conspiracy theory that will be focused on is the belief that climate change is a sham. Two research questions that would help understand why individuals choose to believe this conspiracy theory are: are there any common demographics among climate change deniers; and, how is this belief perpetuated in the media?

Climate is the term used to describe the average atmospheric conditions such as temperature, rainfall, ice cover, wind speed and wind direction of a region over a long time period exceeding 10 years. Therefore climate change is used to describe the fluctuation of average atmospheric conditions. The earth has always gone through periods of climate change and the current geological period is referred to as the Holocene. The Holocene period accounts for the last 11 700 years and is believed to be an interglacial epoch, which is a period of warming in an overall era of cooling. Within the last 11 700 years the earths atmosphere has continued with this overall warming trend with an increase in the speed of warming within the last 40 years. This is shown in figure one below, this graph shows the global land temperature anomalies from the years 1880 to 2014. From observing this image you can clearly see a dramatic increase in temperature since mid 1970s, in the last 40 years there has been more temperature variation than the previous 94 years.

The hotter the earth gets, then the more ice glaciers melt. As the ice glaciers melt the oceans fill up and the land starts to disappear because its covered by water. In this paper we will be discussing how the three branches of government view climate change. The United States government is made up of three branches. The branches are executive, legislative, and judicial. The Legislative makes laws. Legislative is made up of Congress, Senate and House of Representatives. Executive carries out laws. The Executive made President, Vice President, and Cabinet. Judicial valuates laws. Judicial is made of court system, supreme system and federal courts.
