Climate change is a major global issue. Canada is the ninth largest emitter of greenhouse gas that needs to enact on a climate policy [1] (Mildenberger et al. 2016).Greenhouse gas slows down and prevents heat loss in space which increases the temperature of the Earth’s surface leading to global warming. Activities of energy industries, transportation, residential and commercial activities, manufacturing, construction, industrial processes, and agriculture emit greenhouse gases. Human activities emit Carbon dioxide (CO2) that is responsible for an increase of 85% in global warming (Ayşegül Toptal, Bilgesu Çetinkaya 2017). Loss of sea ice, thawing permafrost, and coastal erosion are already increasing in speed [7-9 Mildenberger et al. 2016],

The 19th as well as the 20th century have been the most prolific time periods in modern history as concerns science, technology and socio-economic development. Within these two centuries we witnessed the discovery of electricity, the invention of the engine which played a very important role in the maturity of the well-known industrial revolution. Through this revolution people began to live in a more decent and comfortable manner; new commodities were produced and entire new kinds of industry were developed. Although all these inventions, discoveries and scientific breakthroughs improved in an outstanding way our well-being, they also provided us with some troubles that scientists had never foreseen or even imagined.

Purpose of this research is to discuss the problem of climate change and highlight the importance of sustainable development of resources to reduce or eliminate global warming. This paper also introduces the Paris Agreement to its readers and the research is questioned by asking: What if countries don’t sign Paris Agreement? The information used in this research paper is obtained from the official United Nations website which is the primary source of information for this paper as well as the secondary sources like Reuters and NASA along with scholarly sources like ProQuest. This paper refers to previous studies and discusses the effects of climate change and global warming domestically as well as globally on a country. In this research, the significance of the Paris Agreement as a driving force in reducing activities responsible for climate change and lowering percentage of global warming will be highlighted. Referring to the analytical and statistical information provided by NASA, the paper is designed to persuade the readers that the information is credible and accurate.

The Earth has always been undergoing climate change. Extreme weather, natural disasters, and global warming are a few examples of current climate changes. To help prevent this, the Climate Change Education act was introduced by Ed Markey, a democrat from Massachusetts. The main goal of this act was to educate the citizens about the causes of climate change, solutions to it, and small adjustments in their own lives to help prevent it. While there are people who totally support this, there are others who do not. The Climate Change Education act can be seen as helpful because it can protect the Earth and its inhabitants, yet it can be unnecessary because it will not contribute to our society.

Climate change and Global warming is a big issue in the world today. One big thing is the Greenhouse Effect. The Greenhouse Effect is the capturing of the sun's warmth in the planet's lower atmosphere due to the greater transparency of the atmosphere to visible radiation from the sun than to infrared radiation given off from the planet's surface. Greenhouse gases affect the temperature here on Earth by sunlight hitting the Earth. Then, carbon dioxide reflects the heat from the sun and traps the heat, keeping it on the Earth causing a rise in temperature.

The clock is ticking! Global Co2 emissions have increased exponentially since the industrialization of today’s developed world. Emissions have now passed the absorptive capacity of the earth and are accumulating in the earth’s atmosphere, warming the surface of the earth and inducing localized climatic changes. Climate change is often a localized issue. Many regions of the world will continue to become hotter, while others may experience highly variable weather patterns. Climate change poses a serious threat to ecosystems, economic sectors, and human welfare. Although almost entirely caused by the developed world, climate change will disproportionally affect the world’s poor.

The word ‘Climate Change’ may seem familiar people more often these days. In the last century. Nearly every aspect of today’s technology was influenced back then by the Industrial Revolution; therefore, it could be regarded as a significant turning point in history. It also inspired the later emergence of the modern capitalist economy and opened up a new era of manufacturing. Economic historian has no doubt that the Industrial Revolution marks considerably one of the most important event in the history of humanity. (Hobsbawm 27) However, it contributes Other side effects such as global warming and climate change. Still, many of the inventions today are improvement of the Industrial Revolution and other invention paved the way for the technological advancements that we can benefit from in today’s world. (McCloskey & Deidre). Despite the fact that climate change has influenced the environment to a great extend in recent decades, it is not too late to save it from its further negative changes.

     We should all be very concerned about our future on Earth as human beings. We may not be at such an immediate risk of burning to death, but our future descendants are. Every year, the overall temperature has gone up slowly. Eventually Earth will be too hot to live on, and the human race will become extinct! The best way to save our future is to start now. Americans should be conscientious of global warming and should watch their CO2 emissions because increasing CO2 concentrations means an increase in Earth’s temperature.
