Two non traditional methods of program funding that the XYZ Corporation can incorporate are fundraising dinners and an annual music festival. Both of these fundraising methods have the potential to raise thousands of dollars for the organization. Planning these events will be time consuming and somewhat costly, the XYZ Corporation will seek to get as much donated materials and volunteer time as possible to keep costs of the fundraising events at a minimum. The dinner will incorporate a cost per plate that is affordable yet will maximize fundraising potential. The music festival will bring publicity and positive attention to the organization as well as maximize fundraising capabilities.
A planning analysis is needed to ensure diverse financial support and implement a fundraising plan. A detailed plan provides a yearlong plan to identity potential avenues of support and assignment for staff to complete. WVMPHP appears to have not developed a strategy for annual revenue support and an analysis will target income sources. Fundraising strategies to explore can include quarterly direct mail newsletters, e-mail and social media updates. Since WVMPHP is a statewide organization events should be

The first choice of business is the franchise. In a franchise, legal binding agreement is entered into between two firms, the franchisor (the product or service owner) and the franchisee (the firm to market the product or service in a particular location). The franchisee pays a certain sum of money for the right to market this product” (Rubin, 1978, p.224). The franchising is more prevalent in the restaurant industry (Hoffman & Preble, 2003). The two distinct features of this business type include; first, in order to notable service components should
There are various benefits of having ventures with the local organizations. The amount of risks is curtailed to a large extent. If a business wants to earn money and is interested in gaining more and more customers, there will be a need to understand their dynamics. It is impossible to have the customers without first knowing about them. Their ins and outs are necessary to be known and in this regard, the local businesses of difference states can help the Red Lobster. This is the best strategy for ensuring the success of the organization from every perspective.
Major gift requires that the staff meets several times, this way the leader may delegate tasks, equally, the manager keeps track of assignment, training and volunteers. It is recommended that the executive director and managers from different departments develop skills to feel comfortable asking for donations. Overall, the agency’s personnel should be trained as fundraisers, thus they can help to raise contributions. Staff should be prepared to contact and solicit sponsors. It is an effective strategy to personally contact sponsors. Hight level of sponsorships is considered after the agency has grown a relationship (Weinstein, 2009).
People want and need to know who they are giving to and why they are giving. Mainly, they want to know how does the organization in which we are promoting is going to continually help the communities. So, I decided that it would be nice to have a United Way Kick Off week that entailed food, fun, games, and giving. Despite the fact that we were given a budget, however, we still wanted to ensure that our budget helped to exceed our goal in gaining money for United Way. So, I thought it would help if our co-workers knew that they could give any donation they deemed adequate and sufficient for them to give without feeling as if they were pressured to give a certain amount that maybe they could not afford. Furthermore, I wanted to make it where it could be a one-time gift or it could be dispersed over a 12 month period in a payroll deduction type method. So once our co-workers knew they had options, they were more in tune to give in the manner that worked best for them. This also promoted greater pledge amounts. Likewise, I believed that many of the employees would be enthused and more giving if they had small incentives and things to look forward to. So food and fun are what attracted many of the employees within our division. They like to participate in fun festivities. With our budget, I thought it would be nice to have the last day of our kickoff a casino night in which all the money contributed along with the employee pledges would go to the United Way campaign as well.
The gift chart serves as an instrument to evaluate and assess how to strategize each gift range based off of current membership levels. Downtown Indy, Inc. (IDI) would be able to verify exactly how many gifts and prospects are needed at each level to meet or surpass its goal. It is critical that the strategy is realistic and fits best for the organization. The
Gathering small donations is always helpful but these donations must be maintained as the months and years continue if possible, increasing the pledges. (Barry. 2013) Many times the people who have previously donated are willing to contribute the same amount or may be willing to increase the donation amount depending. (Shattuck. 2014) It is on the administration to maintain this relationship and to prompt the previous donors. This is typically facilitated using letters or calls, but in this business it is a benefit to have a knowledgeable and friendly, ideally involved, member of the community reaching out. The more personal the contact, the more likely a donation. Usual schedules for reminding and prompting donors use thank you cards, letter, and calls as time goes on. (Shattuck. 2014) Occasionally though, the ability to foster relationships that may lead to large donations may become necessary. Oftentimes these donations are results of a program and involvement in the donor's life for years, requiring involvement in the community and networking. Theatre changes peoples lives and when they are able to give back, the arts benefit. Take, for example, the million dollar donation given to local theatre The Croswell Opera House in late 2013. (Daily Telegram. 2013.) A woman who had grown up in the area and performed with the Croswell Opera House
can the Charity articulate how planned gifts will be allocated and then spent in a way that resonates with the donor?
By participating in fund raising events, the public have more respect and appreciation for the brand. This really has the ability to boost a brand, as people are able to relate to the brand as they see a human aspect
Not having to answer to a corporate boss is the dream of many and the flexibility that owning a business franchise creates provides this option. Success is not reached by simply creating a business, however. The level of success is measured by the size and efficiency of the business. Business growth is the driving force of the economy. The additional jobs and revenues created when a business expands allow the economy to grow at exponential rates. One of the fastest and most popular ways to increase the size of a business is to turn it into a franchise, which can then be purchased by individuals. Franchising provides opportunities that are beneficial to both the parent company and the purchaser. The company that owns the business can expand
In the business world there are many routes businesses can take to try to ensure a successful venture. There are sole proprietorships, partnerships, limited liability partnerships, corporations, limited liability corporations, S corporations, and then there is franchising. A formal definition of franchising is “a continuing relationship in which a franchisor provides a licensed privilege to the franchisee to do business and offers assistance in organizing, training, merchandising, marketing and managing in return for a monetary consideration” (Franchising, n.d.). In simpler terms, franchising is paying someone for their business, marketing, and operations strategy, as well as the use of their name (Obringer, n.d.). Discussed next are the important roles in franchising.
